What's this...? TOS.5.2

Thanks, guys! :)

Too funee, largo, you crack me up! :D

He's a real like Bones! just occurred to me! Well via my Trekker wife. I can't believe I missed that one! But, at the least I did have the good sense to marry a Trekker gal, eh. ;)

On your Sphinx shuttle you have the markings of the USS Probert, any plans to draw that ship?

By the way, I love the Enterprise update.

Not sure I follow, “plans to draw that ship?”...?

Do you mean creating scenography renders like with my other ships? If so, sure in time (as she demands it, as well as my usual proper orthos spec-sheets). But I'm kinda busy with other stuff right now though, making a living/work-related. But in time I will get to her, eh.

Street Hawk is an awesome design, as was Andrew's Airwolf. :)

I think he means design a special class of ship around the "U.S.S. Probert", although the only person that could do justice to such a design would be the man himself of course...

Ahhh, sure sure, now it makes sense, thanks, Dac. ;)

Funny how any context can shift via personal perspective...

Anywho, no, no plans to create an actual USS Probert. That was just my personal lil' tip o' the hat to Andrew, within my creation/realization of his awesome design.

Here's a pic that C (me wife) sneak-snapped (no as pics allowed) of me getting me SOTL spread signed by The Shatner. He was pretty cool, and said “Oh really? Very nice.” when I told him that was my artwork for SOTL. I also mentioned that I built all the ships for his myouterspace.com website, and he said, “Is that so? Good for you.” Nice words from, me Cap't me Cap't.

BTW, that “red shirt” I'm wearing says “EXPENDABLE” across the chest in the classic TOS font, of which Patrick Stewart's son, Daniel, upon reading it, was kind enough to empathically tell me; “You do know, you are not expendable.” He seemed kinda kindly-serious about it too, not sure if he was in on the fun of the shirt. But I assured him I knew I wasn't and we had a nice chat about “The Inner Light,” me fav TNG episode. Very sweet guy, as were all the Trek peeps. And OMG, Brent Spiner is frakin' hilarious! He could do stand-up no prob and C and I told him we'd be there if he ever did. He's a complete unbridled zany goof-ball and super sincere (even though he (comically) claims not to have a single sincere bone in his body), and super laid-back and approachable. I love all those qualities in a person. John de Lancie was quite the card and super nice, too. And Avery Brooks, what a purely loving spiritual guy! He was so moving and encouraging in all he had to say. He looked a little thin and a tad shaky though, and kinda mentioned in passing twice he was “Just trying to stay alive.” So not sure if he is going through something right now in regard to physical health. If he is, my prayers are with him.

And OMG, this one guy in this classic Godzilla suit, AWESOME! (I'm a huge Godzilla geek though). I included a pic of that guy as well.

That's terrific, Deg! But ... you've got photos of you and Godzilla yet you don't say a word about him. Was he kind of a jerk or something?

No, Psion, he wasn't a jerk at all. I just gave him a mention in my post as I thought his costume was just awesome. I didn't really speak to him, just saw him there while other peeps were taking their pics of and with him, so I had my wife snap one of me with him. As we posed, I did ask him if it was hot in there, and he said; Yeah, boiling! And I said, “Well, it's worth every bead of sweat, dude, as you're suit is awesome and beyond coolness!” to which he replied, “Thanks a lot, dude!” through the lil' screened holes for his mouth and eyes in Godzilla's neck.

Oh! I completely missed that little orphan sentence under the discussion of the Trek guests. My fault, as I tend to skim posts these days. Here I thought I was being witty by implying that you hung out with the Godzilla.

It was a cool suit though.

I wasn't sure (as inflection is hard to get across in the web) if you were being serious or cheeky, my friend. In the column that you were being cheeky (which you turned out to be), I did pick up a vibe on your intended witticism. Hangin' out with The ' Zilla. There's a fun time, eh. Well, except for all the lil' Japanese peeps he steps on. But, hey, The 'Zilla is actually classified as a force of nature, so it's not like he crushes peeps with malicious intent, eh. ;)

Why do I keep thinking the guy should have had a cigar poking out of that Godzilla suit? ;)

"And now, off you go! There is money to be made." ;)

Cool that you got your artwork autographed :techman:
I still think the lighting isn't very good...

You should have re-enacted the Kirk vs. Gorn scene with him... ;)

Ahahahaha, good one! :)

You bet your life, and the secret word is...

"And now, off you go! There is money to be made." ;)

Seriously, the man is a machine when it comes to business. That's all he basically did half his time on stage was hawk and pitch his new show; Aftermath and his other one coming back Raw Nerve.

He was very nice though, and funny. But forget the lighting, the man needed some powder and a sweat rag. You can't really see it here but he was dripping shiny with sweat in his booth set up by Lightspeed Fine Art.

*crack whip* Sign Shatner, sign! *crack whip*

I love it when a plan comes together.
