What's special about Vadic's big thug?

Most of those 'in the know' seemed to suggest it'd be a photo of her only, displayed on screen, rather than physical appearance
When I first heard about it, I instantly thought:
little holo statue.

This whole plotline is because Armus can't find the four Starfleet officers that tormented him, so he's destroying the whole of Starfleet instead.
It's all because Mariner had to prank-call him

I’m more interested in why the other changelings under Vadic’s command chose to look like bird people 99% of the time and speak in a different language from her own. And where they got the Shrike from. And why Vadic vaporized one of her own kind just because he was reporting information she didn’t like. But I have a feeling that those questions won’t get answered in three episodes.
Maybe Daystrom had some Xindi Avians or cloned some and they helped the Changelings escape, and they took their forms and language to commemorate them?

I'm wondering if maybe the Shrike is a mishmash ship created by Section 31 cramming elements of some big bad's ships, like, the best parts of a Borg ship, Son'a ship, the Scimitar and the Narada.

Maybe it’s not a Changeling but a rogue Jen’Hadar in disguise for some reason.

A Jem'Hadaar wouldn't be able to get up after taking all those phaser hits.
This guy seems like a bigger thug Changeling who's Vadic's bodyguard.... maybe he just has thicker mass as a changeling and is more able to absorb those phaser blasts.

I remember that Martok the Changeling took multiple disruptor shots before finally exploding... maybe this one was similar.
A mature and experienced changeling capable of taking multiple phaser shots.
