Whatever happened to Starship Exeter?

Eh, I don't use facebook.

I'm sure I'll find out in time.

Edit:

Thanks Maurice, that worked.

It's very good to see the progress!

It was awesome to see this count down with the great news!

First, I would like to thank everyone who helped to get the final act of TTI done!. Bravo! I never doubted that it would happen, but did occasionally wonder if I would be around long enough to watch it :)

Second, I did a request to be added to the Facebook group and I believe someone mistook me for a spammer or some kind of troublemaker and banned my profile from even being able to view the site. I had to create a new fictional facebook page just to access the public page to see what was going on!!! I realize there was some turbulent conversations on this board from reading the comments here (TBBS) BUT REALLY!

Anyway problem solved for now, but I will never again hit the button to "Join Group".

*dances around* A solid date! A solid date! Only 28 more days! *claps hands*

Film is the art of faking reality. Here's a simple example. We have a shot where the main viewscreen flares white for a few frames, but during principle photography no shots were made with bright light coming from behind the screen. To sell the flash, I created a matte of the main viewscreen glow and the light it would cast on the wall and handrails so that I could selectively brighten parts of the image and not others. This affects maybe three frames total, but it sells the illusion.

Very nice. And I'm looking forward to the finished result.

I was wondering if YouTube existed yet when this episode started?

wikipedia said:
YouTube is a video-sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005 and owned by Google since late 2006, on which users can upload, view and share videos.

IIRC, TTI was shot back in 2004 so I'm guessing, ''not''. But I think I remember Jimm Johnson saying in an interview their website host crashed constantly because of the immense traffic...

I recently re-watched the existing acts on youtube. I tried to hold out until the final act was complete but I caved. I'm super excited to see the final act and the new trailer looks and sounds great.

Well, as of this weekend I am officially WRAPPED on "The Tressaurian Intersection". Except for providing source elements to Jimm Johnson if he requests them, I'm done done done.

Thrilled for everyone on the crew of Exeter, and eagerly awaiting my chance to view the episode in its entirety. Congratulations of course, and well done all!

I just watched the full mix with Ralph Miller's sound work and Hetoryn's music and it's pretty fabulous. Tense as Hell at the climax, IMHO. Seeing the end credits roll with music really does tell you you're done.
