Whatever happened to Starship Exeter?

Oh....I almost forgot...coffee too since this is about Tressaurian Intersection. It's important. Ask Dennis.:guffaw:
I get real pissy without my coffee.

STATUS UPDATE: I spent an evening cataloging and organizing several hundred TOS sound effects into the project. Wee!

Bill Walker can attest as to how much "fun" he had recreating, re-recording ambient bridge sounds and chatter for our productions.

Actually, it was kinda fun. You don't realize how many variations there are in bridge ambience mixes until you listen to a whole bunch of them.

Well I have tons of existing TOS tracks, far beyond those on the Star Trek Sound effects CD, so there are numerous "canned" bridge ambiences, like some from The Cage/Where No Man to a general 3rd Season bridge ambience. There's also quite a number of separated elements, so I could do some custom ambience if need be.

One thing I discovered upon listening to the audio for "Beauregard" from the Man Trap...if you slow it way down it appears it's just the sound of a seal or a sea lion that's been sped way up and played backwards and forwards.

Cool, I had no idea about Beauregard. I remember seeing a similar visual effect in Wolf 351 on The Outer Limits.

Back to the ambient bridge noises and chatter, I think folks will be very pleasantly surprised with our approach to it.

I don't like Fuddruckers as much as I used to. There's just something...I dunno, unpleasant about their burgers.

Very fond of Five Guys, though.

Dennis, i remembered your mention of this and decided to try this place. They didn't have one here in Dec. I just noticed one that opened here about a month ago near the Wal Mart where we live. About the same price, cooked on large flat hot surface and not char grilled over an open flame. Makes for a juicier burger. Liked the Cajun fries. Nice simple decor. Clean but crowded which makes me wonder if this is what you were alluding to? The music was a tad loud. I don't remember the last time I saw so many people working an assembly line behind a hamburger prep area.

Overall a okay place. Everything looked fresh as you would hope for. I liked the sacks of potatos stored right out in the dining area as part of the signiature diining atmosphere. Interesting touch.

I'm holding DS9Sega incommunicado to work on Polaris this week.
Rumors, lies and a politician's promises! ;)

What did you expect from someone who resides in the D.C. area?

As a certain Vulcan scientist would say, "Constant exposures to political shortsightedness and other unethical acts on the part of bureaucrats often result in a certain level of contamination." :vulcan:
