Definitely one for the "Oops" file...
Just talked to Jimm; he's going to get the website back up. Yep, he's still working on the fine cut of Act Four. 
That's a "fine" thing to hear Dennis!
Good to hear...it was alittle scary there for a moment.
I do hope you guys are able to do more "Exeter", because it captures the original intent of Star Trek better than any of the films to date.
I think maybe Jimm plans to, but I've moved on to other projects. Thanks for the kind words, though.

Just re-watching some of The Tressaurian Intersection. Wow! It still amazes me. It is so good, so true to TOS. It really is incredibly well done. And this was an awesome script.

I wish we could get in touch with Jimm. I think he might need to know that people still care. I'm wondering if he hasn't lost the drive to complete it either due to the demands of everyday life or frustration over the fan film process itself...

From what I've seen Jimm follows his own course and is impervious to outside considerations. That's not a criticism, just an observation. Exeter's quality is a direct result of that single-mindedness. I'm like everyone else, I hope to see the rest of it, sooner rather than later, but I think that the best course is to simply respect the way Jimm operates and allow him to do his work. He may be single minded, but I have no doubt that he realizes the interest there is in his project, but really the way I see it trying to persuade (pressure?) him into working faster isn't going to accomplish anything, other than possibly slow him down even further if he feels compelled to start responding to such inquiries.
Exeter is a gift to the Star Trek community and I'm willing to wait for the payoff.
I think of Exeter like the Sistine Chapel. Don't rush it.
Although it only took a bit over four years for Michelangelo to paint that.

I don't have much of a point. My only observation was that Barb likened the TTI release to another ambitious project--one that wasn't rushed and ultimately had amazing results. Being not too knowledgable on the subject, I personally thought that Michelangelo worked on the ceiling for, well, decades, because of the incredible final result. I was surprised to learn (and I thought others might be interested to know) that he actually knocked it out in about four years. Great results--but not actually as lengthy a process as I had thought it was.
It was just an interesting and surprising bit of trivia. I wouldn't try to read any more into my comment than that. I apologize that my comment might have been tinged with something that wasn't really intended.
I don't want to pressure Jimm. I just want to offer encouragement.
Agreed. What I've seen has been terrific, and I'd enjoy seeing how it all works out.

I still get tensed up thinking about... we were left on such a cliffhanger. It really is wide open as to what will happen in that final act.
I sure hope it's soon. I could use a really good dose of Trek (and please Barbreader, don't tell me about all the other fan productions I could be watching in the meantime -- unless you know of any that are at the same level of Quality as Exeter-Farragut-PhaseII).

Sadly, I can relate to the rumor that Jimm is a perfectionist. (I say "Rumor" because I don't know him)
I've been working on a CG model of the Baton Rouge class for WAY too long and keep redoing parts of it because some tiny little thing that no one will notice is "wrong".
Sometimes it just isn't healthy to be a perfectionist.
However, when a perfectionist puts some type of art on display there's usually praise. That makes it worth it, I suppose.
...but I really want to see Act IV today. Since I can't, I wait.
