Tribbles, CGI, welders, Enterprise's parts built on Earth and Dark whining convinces me that some people still refuse to believe that its not 1966 anymore.

The question is, why should there be tribbles in the new movie? Are tribbles a plot element, or are they just being included to satisfy the hardcore Trekkies who think that every alien, ship, and officer we've ever seen or heard of needs to be crammed into this movie?
