as seven of nine would say "crude but efficient" for me more than four officer ranks and 3 enlisted ranks maybe show more of building her and a little bit of the romulan war. and definitely have them wear mask and maybe some more medical staff

Start the show with the urgency and direction they had in season 3.
well maybe not the whole season but just make it so that months go by during the beginning episode like they should've done and maybe make the episodes go on for a week or two to compensate for the low speed.

2, For seasons one and two the show was just called "Enterprise." The "Star Trek" was added in season three. For various reasons I would have left it alone.
3. I'm probably one of two or three people that preferred seasons one and two. Three and four would have been similar. As is, three is just the DS9 wannabe season, and I found four unwatchable.

Some of the things I'd do:
- Have the first season take place on Earth, before the mission begins, as was the original plan
- MACOS on the ship from the get-go, not simply added just before the Xindi arc
- Ultimate endgame: the Earth-Romulan War, comprising at least one entire season, perhaps two
- No Temporal Cold War
- IAMD plays out pretty much like we saw, except the "Empress Sato" horseshit
- Actually show some Daedalus-class ships
- UESPA instead of Starfleet
People keep saying that, but there's no evidence that there are no ranks of LTJG or LCDR. Just because we never saw anyone with those ranks doesn't mean they don't exist. (And I might point out that the MU Earth Starfleet does have the rank of LCDR, because that's what T'Pol was.)
And what happens when a bulkhead gets punctured by one of those bullets?
Why else do you think B5 had PPGs instead of projectile weapons?
This is Trek. It's supposed to have beam weapons. True, ENT should have called them lasers, but whatever.
Why not? Just because of "Balance of Terror"? It's entirely normal to think that while the Romulans refused all visual communication, the technology still exists. I mean, how else are they supposed to show who the crew is talking to?

Okay, a couple of dozen episodes of what?
Yeah, I'm not sure you can flesh out a whole season of 20-25 episodes land bound. I can see maybe 2 or 3 episodes to get ready, get the crew together, maybe with some drama involved. But no more than that. People would get annoyed, are we ever going to get to the stars?
- Story telling: Not too much kind of "we visit a random planet or meet an alien ship and have some explosions and fight", but about character development of crew and relations of Federation's founders and diplomacy. Being space newbie is OK, but being unprofessional and unorganized for even today's standards? NO. More balanced story continuity about senior staff. Instead of meaningless already done stories like "Precious Cargo", "Dawn", "Vanishing Point"or forgettable ones like "Vox Sola" etc., give Hoshi, Travis, Reed, Phlox some room to experiment.
- Crew: Among others Chinese and Indian people at the crew, no US domination without reason.
- Technology and weapons: It would be unbelievable to use older technologies than we have today. At this point I am very disagree with canon-belt Trekkies. TOS could have too much futuristic elements for the 60's, why could not ENT have much more futuristic elements for the Millennium? You have to win additional audition to make your show watchable and believable. If we keep the technological speed of today (even if we forget wars have catalyzing impacts on the technology), transporters are theoretical can be reality until 2151 acc.to Prof. Dr. Hubert Zitt who is known as Dr Enterprise.
- More stories about impacts of WWIII, Eugenics Wars and Brush Wars on Earth society.
- Rewrite the Xindi arc and Temporal Cold War as heralds of Romulan War
- Romulan War
- TnT could be deepened as allegory of "Logic + Emotion and Logic vs. Emotion" or at least as HopefulRomantic says allegory of "Earth/Vulcan relations", not going no-where wasting chance.

Really for most it’s the opposite. I mean season 4 finally explains the reason why Klingons had no ridges during the original series be sides the real world reason of different make up styles. And I love season 3 and 4. I like season 2 and I tolerate season 1. Also why would you leave out Star Trek out of the title I mean that the thing with Star Trek series they start with Star Trek ______
Also I like the theme during 3 and four. It need to be speeded up although I dislike the season 1 and 2 theme less now
Well there is very little evidence saying that they did have them. I really don’t like the sound of UESPA. Totally yes to Daedalus and of course no empress sato
Enterprise should have proven that lasers don't work. (real science), carried Nukes, not had photonic torpedoes, and invented phasors.
While we're speaking of technology, I don't believe NX-01 should have started with transporters onboard. I could see that as an upgrade after a couple of years.

Well, in the Trekverse, the Romulan war was "fought with primitive nuclear weapons" said our beloved Mr Spock.
One change that would have vastly improved the show?
Have actual logical Vulcans not irrational, arrogant fundamentalist Vulcans; thus depriving Archer of his character derailing racism, giving us a T'pol that isn't constantly on the verge of tears, a clear distinction between the Vulcans and the Andorians etc etc

Hey they change in the end Plus it’s kind of nice to not have the Vulcan always been the perfect like people although they could have been less aggressive
Yes but he did not say that they only fire them from there ship and he did not say that it was practical. I mean the Romulan could have nuked some human worlds

I didn't need an in universe reason for it. I was perfectly happy with Worf's line in DS9 about "It's a long story." The line is more effective if we never hear the story. ENT telling the story is like going out of the way to explain a punch line.
Because at the time ENT came out I thought there was a bunch of baggage related to the franchise I thought needed to be shed, and one of the things that appealed to me about the show is that it looked like it would do the shedding, starting with calling it just plain "Enterprise." And it did that shedding...for two seasons. Then it brought back the Star Trek and loaded up on the baggage in three and four.
The theme was fine. It was different. It was nothing like the themes we'd heard before...and it didn't freaking need to be sped up. I only mention using the other song because it was the one they used in the promos.
