What would Picard and co. have been in the Mirror universe?

indolover

Fleet Captain
.

Mirror Worf was the Regent of the Alliance. But would Picard and co. been his personal slaves? Since everybody in the real universe has the same connections and associations as in the mirror universe, then it makes sense, no?

Well, here's my idea of a visual. You know, beards and all.

The novel Dark Mirror, aside from portraying a better version of the MU than DS9 did, is an excellent novel dealing with the TNG crew in the MU.

It's fairly old, mid to late 90's I think, written by Diane Duane.

In the mirror universe as it was in TOS before the interference?

In the mirror universe as it was in TOS after the interference?

Or the fucked up, bullshit, mirror universe DS9 established?

In the recent novel Q&A (I know noncanon) we saw a Mirror Enterprise-E where the Empire did not fall. In it Picard captained the Enterprise, Lore was First Officer, and O'Brien was Chief Engineer.

In the various mirror TNG stories that have recently popped up (I'm not counting Dark Mirror):

Picard: Civilian archaeologist, working for Gul Madred

Riker: VERY nasty rebel starship commander

Troi: Works for her mother, who's a madam at a brothel in the midst of the ruins of Betazed

Geordi: None

Crusher: Exists, but does not appear

Data: None (there is a mirror Soong, though)

Wesley: Apparently orphaned. Kind of a street punk type. Is friends with mirror Picard and frequently helps him maintain his ship. Eventually killed by mirror Klingons

O'Brien: Rebel leader (only one of these characters we've actually seen on screen)

Barclay: Rebel, a techno-nerd type who partners with mirror K'Ehleyr (she's a spy for the Rebels)

^ That reminded me of one of the more interesting moments of Dark Mirror:

Barclay was Picard's personal guard.

Picard would lead a crack commando unit that was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Alpha Quadrant underground. Today, still wanted by the Alliance, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the D-Team.

Col. John "Lucky" Picard

"Charming Bill" Riker

George "The Forge" LaForge

Reg "Howling Mad" Barclay

they'd be dead.

Or slaves.

Except for Data, who, like Jake Sisko, never existed. Since Noonien Soong would be nothing but a slave, it's unlikely that he would have built Data or Lore.

Also, Geordi would likewise not have a VISOR, so he would most likely be executed as soon as his blindness is discovered.

Geordi would have told Picard to get a haircut, Picard would have poked him in the eyes and Wesley would have ordered them both off the bridge.

I like to think of Picard wearing a leather harness and an electro-whip, like the mirror universe Armold Rimmer... what were we talking about again?

I want to watch this show! :techman:

Picard as Captain of the ISS Enterprise E.

Riker, always waiting his chance to kill Picard, not knowing that Picard holds and Ace.

Lore in place of Data. Beverly helped Picard turn Lore off so they could install a chip so that he would not rebel.

LaForge killed as an infant since he was blind.

Worf probably died when the ISS Intrepid attacked the Khitimer Outpost.

Beverly is Picards woman. He took her after killing Jack Crusher.

Deanna, power hungry emotion tampering she-devil who is watching Riker for Picard and looking to become the Captain's Woman.

Tasha thinking of ways to get rid of Lore and take his place.

Wesley is the ship's pleasure boy.

Well the third option, surely? It was set at the same time as TNG.

From that angle, Worf would have been the Regent of the Alliance, and Picard and co. his slaves.

i love the idea of Lore being in place of data and data not even existing

it makes sense. Data would never be created because Lore came out perfect! evil and ambitious. the tragedy of data not even existing shows what a horrible place the mirror universe is....

Laforge being killed at birth also makes sense.

Worf, who knows, he's with the klingons. probably dead.

Riker is captain of the ISS something and a huge asshole

Picard.. I can't even really imagine what Picard would be like. All the ideas I've heard so far don't seem right. It's hard for me to imagine an evil picard, but there is definite potential for some evil badassery. Probably a conquerer of worlds. He's probably conquered more worlds than any other captain and is held in very high regard. He'd probably enslave the borg somehow and use them to assimilate drones to do his bidding

Troi would be riker's woman and he would use her emotion reading for his benefit.

Pulaski would experiment on people to further her research... in horrible horrible ways!

Guinan.... hm... I feel like she'd be the same as our guinan, since she probably was around before the mirror universe went bad. she's a refugee and considers the federation empire (or whatever its called) to be really bad. maybe she'd end up killing picard. I like that

Q would be the same, I'm sure. I think he would find the federation empire (or whatever its called) to be pretty pathetic and uninteresting. He'd probably deem them unworthy of existence and destroy humanity or something, like he always threatened

Wesley would be an extremely powerful and dangerous person. He'd probably be the worst of them, given his supposed potential and genius. He'd probably find some way to force the traveller to give him his secrets and then use that power to get what he wants.

Or maybe with the power of the traveller, he would learn of OUR universe, and he'd become good, and end up fixing the mirror universe and saving the day, just to piss all the fans off. He'd save us all from Q's destruction. Wesley saves the day again! what a kick to the nuts that'd be. Ashley Judd would definitely be his slave bitch.

Barclay would have been killed off pretty early. Or he'd be a slave
