Teacake, I really like that explanation of why Reed might have been drawn to the spoilery thing, makes a lot of sense. I really wish they'd done more with that too, though unfortunately the revelation came at just the wrong time, just before the series got cancelled. Very much agree about the stereotyping the British vs what's just his personality, though I kind of wish the writers had always been able to tell the difference too. I think Keating actually did a really good job of keeping him the right side of parody at times.

Garak, I can't help thinking was a little bit seductively aggressive towards Bashir at first because he could tell it was making him nervous. One of the things I like most about the two of them is how it developed organically from there into a real friendship, and the way both characters grew with it (no innuendo intended )

It was too....crossovery. I think it'd couldve better served if perhaps theyd moved the TNG characters into the post-Nemesis era. Like Riker and Troi on the Titan, facing a command decision. Avoiding trying to cram themselves into the "Pegasus" continuity debacle. But then again it wouldn't have been the Enterprise, would it? Idk.

Oh who cares about Riker and the Pegasus, did any of us watch ENT because we wanted Riker angst about the Pegasus? NO.

No one cares, or cared. Think of all the things ENT watchers did care about, could have cared about, might have cared about.. and yet they just ignored all that opportunity and did a TNG ep about Riker and the effing Pegasus. Yeah. What a piece of shit.

Watch Demons/Terra Prime as the finale. Then, weeks later, maybe when you're in the throes of morning sickness, pop TATV in. Everyone should watch it once so they can contribute to these threads about what a piece of crapola it was.

I meant skip the whole "lets go back to the good ol' days of TNG" and take the present story forward to post-Nemesis.
That way the aging would've fit, and been more believable. I like the framing story of the holodeck, it brings it all together. They just executed it awkwardly.
