What was the last Trek...

Right now I'm in the process of rewatching DS9. Im actualy watching The Changing Face of Evil as we speak

I'm introducing my girlfriend to the wonderful world of Trek. In chronological order. So far we've watched Enterprise, TOS, the first six movies and are now watching TNG and DS9. The last episode we watched is "Birthright part II". Tonight we'll watch Alexander Siddig's terrible performance in "The Passenger".

Though DS9 is by far my favourite Trek, I am startled by how much better TNG's season 6 is compared to DS9's season 1. Fortunately "Duet" and "In the Hands of the Prophets" are coming up.

I watched the TNG episode "Transfigurations" yesterday on DVD. I'm having a TNG "Period" right now.

I've also been watching DS9 through, its better than I remember, and since I've started reading the DS9R- I'm picking out more subtle things I missed.

I've actually been watching the Animated Series, and thoroughly enjoying it. Yes, the animation isn't great, but a lot of the stories and scripts are fantastic. If you're at all a Kirk, McCoy and Spock fan, I promise you'll enjoy it.

That's the only Trek I haven't seen.

For years, I avoided it because of the whole 'nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, it isn't canon' factor I kept hearing. It seems these days, Paramount's stance on it may have changed. They did release a DVD boxset of it, after all.

I should check it out.

Watched TMP the other day. It is better than I remember it. I initially (when I was 13) found it boring and slow-moving. But I appreciate it more now, for its epic feel, great music and visuals, and some nice Kirk, McCoy, and Spock interactions.

Half way through the second season of TOS on DVD. Watching Enterprise in HD on SciFi. TOS has not held up as well and I had remembered.

I really don't notice it. I guess I just accept that's how it looks and don't go beyond that.

But, you may try the remastered version of TOS, it brings it right up to date and clears things up alot.

Just watched What Are Little Girls Made Of last night online (my avatar -- coinydink?) and always crack up at Ruk's line, "THAT WAS THE EQUATION!" I was also struck by how scary Ruk was in that ep to me, even years later, despite his ridiculous outfit. The night before, I watched TNG two-parter Chain of Command -- someone posted it on YouTube -- and it always sends a chill down my spine. I always cheer when Picard finally says, defiantly, "THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!" Great homage to George Orwell's 1984. -- RR

Last episode was "The Xindi" I am on a full run through of enterprise, 3 episodes per night.

Hang canon, try it out and see if you like it. Its the entertainment that counts.

I just turned on the Christmas-tree lights, so literally the last Trek I heard was Janeway announcing over the com, "This is Captain Kathryn Janeway of the Delta Flyer. We're on a mission of peaceful exploration" from the Hallmark Delta Flyer Christmas ornament. :D

I rip Trek episode soundtracks for iPod, and I'm currently listening to VOY:The Raven. The last episode I watched was a TAS one; I can't remember which. It's been a while; they are the only Trek left I haven't seen, and I dole them out sparingly.

Every time I've been home, Generations has been on cable.. Must've seen it a half dozen times in the last two weeks.

I'm revisiting Voyager on Virgin1 every night - tonight's episode should be Drone, unless they've decided to start showing something else again (they've done it twice before).

Also coming up to the end of TOS season 1 on DVD. Last episode I watched was This Side of Paradise. First time I've watched any of them in over 10 years, so it's like I'm seeing them for the first time in some cases. Awesome stuff, and it's a lot better than I remember/gave it credit for!

A friend and I have bought Voyager on VHS tapes back in the day, in original language, mind you.

Since the beginning of December I have started a re-run of the tapes starting with Caretaker and having worked my way up to Resistance these days.

I put in an "Arsenal of Freedom" break just the other day.

When I was unable to sleep last night due to a pain caused by a recent sports injury, I watched 11:59 and started Relativity, again on VHS 'til the painkiller kicked in.

I think it'll be Voyager and TNG on DVD for the next few weeks maybe months on a regular basis, maybe a TNG movie coming into the mix if it feels right.

Reading the TNG relaunch novels set shorty before Destiny and Destiny itself, I might swirl in any TNG Borg episode anytime soon...

Last night i watched "The Squire of Gothos" on my TOS-R season 1 box set. Probably watch something else from season 1.

I might just end up watching ST:TMP. Its one of my all time favorite Trek movies, but for some reason if I cant sleep (like tonight, its 2:30am), I'll start watching it and pass out half way though it or earlier.

Its like that DVD or any DVD from my Carl Sagan's Cosmos box set knocks me out if i cant get to sleep. Watching Carl talk about "billions and billions of stars" is like warm milk.

I was honestly bummed out when i heard he passed away my senior year of high school.
