Then watched Space Seed again, paying more attention to McCoy's dialog and Khan's actions in sickbay.
Then I realized after almost 40 years that I never noticed that McCoy in Space Seed, being a smart-ass as McCoy does, told Khan exactly how to slit the throats of the Regula-1 Scientists in TWOK.
It's more prominent if you read the novel. They go into detail about Khan at Regula-1.
