Michael Beck likes to say that The Warriors made his career and Xanadu killed it.

As I recall, Magic was released before the movie, and it was a hit. The album was a hit (I may have owned one.) But the movie bombed. Which is pretty sad, since it had a good story. I guess they needed a Muse.
