Sirenia -The Mind Maelstrom
I do like a bit of Gothic metal once in a while.
I like it all the time. Though Sirenia is one of the harder bands to stick in one genre. Sometimes gothic metal, sometimes symphonic metal, always amazing.
^^ I like all kinds of metal, Sirenia included, Sirenia's history and the many times they switched singer would make them do things differently, you adapt to the singer's voice and singing style.
I guess the same goes for Xandria as well and many more bands, even Lacuna Coil is a little different with their latest album despite the ones leaving were not the two singers.
