I just got the entire Swallow The Sun CD collection. Their latest album is 3 discs, totaling 21 tracks.
Disc III is the heaviest including this 11 minute epic.

Where Disc III is the heaviest of this album, Disc II is almost "light doom" with a variety of acoustic and semi-acoustic tracks and no growling, but as melancholy and doomy as any heavy track.

I haven't got a damn clue what this song is about, but I love it anyway.

^It's a Mardi Gras song--two Carnival groups calling each out-- that's been around for freaking ever, first becoming a hit song back in the 60s. Some of the lyrics are Mobilian Jargon--an old type of pidgin language, made up of the different Native American languages. The black and immigrant residents used to speak it in the Gulf region, back even before slavery was illegal. I don't think anyone speaks it anymore, except for a few words here and there.
What it means depends on who you ask. Here, it's a friendly song between the last two teams that bring up the rear of the Mardi Gras parade. Wiki it.
