I'm listening to Sammy Hagar's cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus off his new CD.
I wouldn't call myself an Offspring fan (in fact, that outside of parties, I find their music difficult to sit down an listen to) but Alienese let me in on this song. It's fantastic.
The main character in my novel is named Kristy, and she, too, was very troubled and insecure, underneath a beautiful yet delicate shell. Alienese was reading the story when she let me know about this song.
