what should Futurama spoof next?

Shows that could be covered...UFO...The Invaders...Logan's Run...but not as entire episodes..just references in other episodes...

There were going to. There is "The Scary Door" and the creators had an idea of "Futuramama" in which some loser from the year 3000 is frozen to the year 4000 and I think Fry was going to say "People watch this?"

The next movie is a complete ripoff of LotR, I'm hoping it's better than the first two movies.

and doing it with Star Wars would be doubly derivative, because Family Guy already did that.
I don't watch FG but based on what I know of what passes for humor on that show, I'd hope Futurama would do much better. ;) I'd expect more biting satire aimed at Lucas' inability to write worth spit, for instance. I haven't seen as many Star Wars parodies as you guys have, but those that I've seen don't really go for the jugular.

I'm not sure about this upcoming Dungeons and Dragons movie. I played D&D in High School, but I just don't know how well a full parody movie will work.

I doubt D&D has reached any critical mass of pop culture consciousness that would allow any injokes to come off well.

It couldn't possibly do worse.

I don't think being that mean-spirited toward a work of genre fiction is Futurama's style any more than devoting a whole episode to a parody of one movie series is.

Don't you remember Gary Gygax's appearance as one of Al Gore's Vice Presidential Action Rangers? "I'm... (rolls dice, looks at them) pleased to meet you!" "I'm a tenth-level vice president!" Futurama doesn't care if its jokes are widely understood. Heck, they're constantly doing jokes you have to be a math or physics major to understand. (My personal favorite physics joke is the quantum finish at the horse race: "You changed the outcome by measuring it!")

The Futurama comics have had some great ideas that the show should pay attention to. One of my recent favorites involved the Professor creating the world's ultimate port-a-potty; it's the regular size on the outside but able to serve many at once because it's bigger on the inside. Dr. Zoidberg goes to use it, and they discover that a side effect of the "bigger on the inside" mechanism causes each flush of the toilet to randomly teleport the potty somewhere in space and time. It was a great little send-up to Doctor Who with Dr. Zoidberg inadvertently saving dozens of civilizations as he bumbles around.

They did another pretty good one recently that involved the Planet Express crew being exiled to a farm planet guarded by robots disguised as farm equipment; the robots called themselves the Transfarmers.

The Futurama comics has some clunkers of a story, but there is some really great stuff to mine in there.
