What other aliens would we want to see in the future in season 3? We are getting the Trills and it looks like we are getting the Cardassians (I guess the Federation never met them till the 24th century). Would you like to see old faces or new alien civilizations?

Vidiians. Definitely.

Would love to learn the Kazon went extinct. Good riddance.

The Founders. What the hell have they been up goo, I mean, to?

We're going to see Xindi return. Just a hunch...

The VOTH! Deadly dino descendents!

I wonder how the gangster society from Sigma Iotia 2 made out? Did they find McCoy's communicator and figure it out?

And I'd also like to see a new symbiont alien species which has a large critter crawling atop one's head in most unnerving fashion.

Melkotians, metrons(it's been a 1000 years.. So bout time for contact) organians,

I don't trust these writers to be able to do any of these justice. So I'd prefer they stay away from them.

I have a feeling that the Metron's would be shaking their finger at the Human race from what we've seen so far from the 32nd century.

This is an extremely Deep Cut. They likely don't have this in mind. But I know these things...

In "Return to Tomorrow", Sargon warns Kirk that the Federation will one day face a calamity just as his society once faced. 600,000 years ago, they explored and colonized the galaxy, so Sargon could've been a representative an earlier version of a Federation.

So, having been through this type of experience before, he probably knew where the Federation might be heading one day. Given that his people thought of themselves as Gods, he probably figured he either knew it to be so or would have faith that it was to be. John Kingsbridge, having been a deeply religious person, had to have also been a deep believer in fate. To quote Mark Twain, "History never repeats itself but it rhymes."

Malcorians. Who are shocked to learn that Mirasta Yale really did exist..

What about some new aliens, aliens who haven't appeared before ?
They're supposed to be multiple light years away, and multiple centuries in the future, so why not think outside the box and have some new aliens who will be both sinister and seemingly unsurmountable ?
Just a thought.

Nothing nostalgic about them.

And yet, after travelling hundreds of years into the future to a distant region of the galaxy, the first person they meet is a black man named Cleveland.
