What never/poorly adapted novel/comic series would you like to see?

Re: What never/poorly adapted novel/comic series would you like to see

The Grant Morrison incarnation of the Doom Patrol, which is still my all-time favorite run by any writer on any book. I'll even give them casting suggestions, starting with Ron Perlman as Cliff.

And yeah, the Giffen/DeMatteis Justice League...damn, that was a fun book.

I know it won't happen because it's too much like Robocop, but Dethlok the Demolisher. The original one from the Astonishing Tales series. Also, a proper adaptation of The Dresden Files. I liked the tv series good enough, but they changed too much of it in my opinion.

I almost wonder if Agents of Shield isn't going in the Deathlok direction with J. August Richards' character.

That was my first thought as well, that they're doing the McDuffie version of Deathlok. A Demolisher version of Deathlok, unfortunately, does seem unlikely.

I agree with Kirk55555 that an X-Factor Detective Agency show would be great. Smaller scale with a procedural premise = promising TV series.

I want a Martian Manhunter solo film. Written by me, because - in all geeky honesty - I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. And with Carel Struycken as J'onn.

Also, a movie series based on Dan Simmons' Hyperion cantos would rock, but only if done right. This would be delicate, because screw up one tiny bit, and the whole thing is lost.

Also, a proper adaptation of Conan. Maybe not as a movie, this time, but as an HBO series directly adapting the REH stories.

A Justice League movie based off either the exact team, or done in the style of, Giffen/DeMatteis's Justice League America/International/Europe, would be great. They can do a series story, but have some humor and likeable characters that aren't afraid to not be angsty, and have their own personalities. I'd prefer a more JLI type cast: Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Martian Manhunter, Guy Gardner, Fire, Ice, and Batman (for the mainstream hero), but using the Giffen/DeMatteis style/tone of their JL books for a normal JL cast, or even a spinoff JL International/Europe movie while doing a less fun JLA movie, would be cool, too.
Ever seen this?

Kinda cheesy, but I'd have watched heck out of it. :D

I saw it. Its wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but it had A LOT of problems, especially the reality show like set up. I could actually have seen a few of the actors playing the characters (especially if they renamed Guy to Hal) but overall it was a pretty weak attempt. Although it is kind of entertainingly bad, like the Generation X TV movie based off the good Marvel comic.
