What makes us human???

But seriously, what makes Patrick Stewart such an awesome actor? What makes Michael Jordan such an amazing basketball player? What makes Adele such a beautiful singer? Etc.

They're prepared to work very hard to perfect whatever natural talents they've been born with.

By eating the brains of the people with the desired talents.

Oh no Mr. Bill, it's the zombies!

I think the first thing is that it's subjective what we think it Super Human. Michael Jordan never missed a game-winning shot? Patrick Stewart never had a bad performance? Who is to say they are better than someone else? What standard do we measure them by? I think child nutrition plays a role (the first 3 years being key to cognitive and physical development) and the raising of the child (perseverance, aspiring to dreams, supportive households, what the child takes away from their circumstances). So much of what we consider talent is hard work and opportunity combined together with biological talents. Are there no other actors that could match Patrick Stewart? I think there are some, but they are never given the opportunity or they don't stick to it. At the end of the day, basketball is a sport and we're talking about improved reflexes, eye-hand coordination, muscle memory, and the recovery time between physical activities. Basketball is a social exercise, one we created. God or nature didn't put him on the earth to play basketball. He may feel destined to do that, but basketball is man's creation that requires those skills that Michael Jordan possessed. Those are just some thoughts off the top of my head. It's the best I can answer this question without knowing God or nature, without having read every biology or philosophy book on the subject.
