What is your favorite starship?

The interior of the Enterprise-D is tits, but from the very first glimpse I got back in '86 months before the show aired, I haven't liked the exterior design of the Galaxy Class. In a way it kind of grows on you after a while, but I have to say that when the Sovereign Class Enterprise-E was unveiled in First Contact, I let out a huge sigh of thankful relief.

Of course, the TOS era Consitution refit will be my lobster forever!

From a nostalgia point of view, it's obviously the TOS Enterprise/refit Enterprise.
The one I'd sit in the Captain's chair of would be the Enterprise E.
GEDE Goes Everywhere Does Everything.
I'd triple my compliment of quantum torpedoes though.

I personally always liked the Enterprise C design

I grew up with the 90s era Trek right in front of me. I still remember seeing First Contact in theaters very vividly...

But it will always be love at first sight for me. Four years old. I still remember...

... and my face was very much like Kirk's.

Gene's particular version of this Enterprise. The most powerful starship in the entire Federation fleet. Outclassing the Klingon's top ships 3 to 1. Built to explore and go and see so many wondrous things. I often wonder, as others do, what that second five year mission that may have followed after TMP might have been like...

Out there... Thattaway!

As an aside when I had to choose between the DST Star Trek VI Enterprise A and the TMP/TWOK Refit. I of course chose the latter. Even though they were virtually identical ships... The adventures of my imagination will always be A-less.

My favorite following are:

Excelsior Class, Ambassador Class, Nebula Class, Galaxy Class, Akira Class, Defiant, Sovereign Class, and the Intrepid Class,

USS Defiant NX-74205.

It's different to the norm. It's a badass. It was the first time a Starfleet ship actually had a primary function for combat - which make significantly more sense than anything before.

Love 'dem phaser cannons.

I like how the Nova class* was shown in the DS9 tech manual as an early version of the Defiant. :D

Anyway, Galaxy class, love it. Can't stand that awful monstrosity that replaced it in First Contact.

* the one in the Voyager TV series, not the planned Galaxy class successor pictured in the TNG Technical Manual.

This, I love the Nova Class. That's what Voyager should have been, imo. Also the Enterprise-A (refit goes in with it) It's hard to beat that design.

I would have preferred nova class instead of intrepid too (ob. a bigger version of nova class).

regarding the interiors, TOS Enterprise and TMP/TWOK Enterprise are the best. I'd make just some minor modifications

I love seeing the Defiant, especially in action. Also Spock's Jellyfish was a really unique design.

My favorite starships:
Enterprise-J. Super slick and sleek. Elongated profile. At this rate, Enterprise-Z will just be a straight line.
Enterprise-E. Too cool, and also sleek. No neck.
Nebula class. It looks so... compact. The triangular pod is so cool.

Not-so favorite:
Enterprise-B.

As I've said before, TOS Enterprise was an incredible beauty. The most innovative starship in TV or film to that point. Amazing to look at.
TMP Enterprise was that same ship after puberty.

Defiant for me. But until I saw that, I always loved the exteriors of the USS Enterprise-A but would have the interiors of the Enterprise-D.
