What is your favorite starship?

Got to go with the refit Connie, virtually every other ship seen in Trek after that was in that look.

Another vote for the Akira class. It has a wonderful hunkered down look at a distance and up close has a wonderful interplay of hull shapes as you look through and around it. In the design sketches, especially he aft view looking forwards at an angle towards the rear hangar bay doors you get a real feel for the size- I wish we got a chance to see that view on the 'real' CGI ship.

Second is the D7-M as seen in TMP- a great design detailed up for the big screen.

Third is a toss up between the original Connie and the Reliant.

My top ships are all Enterprises
1. TMP Enterprise refit/A
2. Tied: Enterprise-D TOS Enterprise
3. NX01 Enterprise
4. Enterprise-C
5. Enterprise-E
6. Enterprise-B

My top Non-Enterprise ships are
1. Excelsior
2. Reliant
3. Runabout
4. Voyager

My all time favorite has to be the Ambassador-class USS Enterprise-C. The model as finished by Rick Sternbach and Greg Jein and as seen in "Yesterday's Enterprise". To me it looks like the love child of the Constitution and the Galaxy. The perfect blend of TOS/TMP and TNG aesthetics and technology. The Best of Both Worlds!
If I had any saying the new series would have been "Star Trek: Yesterday's Enterprise-C":

It definitely is a great looking ship. It has elements of the A,B and D all rolled into one. While I am a fan of Probert (my top two ships are his), I think Sternbach's version of the Enterprise-C is a lot better.

I love so many, but if I had to go with one I think I'd go with the Nebula Class, with a very close second to the Freedom Class. I can't think of a Prime Trek design I dislike, honestly, but those two are my favorites.

The original USS Enterprise, NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C, D, E, J, NX, or whatever.

The original Klingon battle cruiser is a close second.
