What is your favorite starship?

Design, appearance, weapons... what's your favorite Federation starship?

I personally always liked the Enterprise C design - it was like Enterprise A & Enterprise D had a baby.

I guess this could be a controversial answer, but I absolutely love the Kelvin Timeline Enterprise. It's a great update to a classic design. The warp sound effects are great, and the visual effects are wonderful in all three, particularly the warp visuals in Beyond. It's lovely.

Still love the original Enterprise, the refits, and the Enterprise-A, and those are at the top of my list too. But the reboot Enterprise is just so slick.

Excelsior, hands down. I've said on other posts on here before, it's simply gorgeous and in my mind should have been the Enterprise-A all along.

Followed by the Constitution Refit, Ent-E/Sovereign, Constitution as we saw it in TOS and the Defiant.

Honourable mention to the Ent-D/Galaxy, and the Abramsverse Enterprise - it looks good and is a pretty nice update, though there's a few things I'd change.

NX and Voyager/Intrepid don't even make the list for me, they're just eyesores.

I loved the Akira the moment I saw her.

Another top favorite of mine is the New Orleans Class. I really love this one, too, and wish we could see one in prime condition.

Its a close call between the Original, Enterprise A, Enterprise D, and Voyager, I really dont think I can pick between those 4 lol...Never been a big fan of the TMP/TWoK refit, or the Enterprise E....

Kelvin timeline USS Enterprise. As much as I love the original TOS and movie refit/-A, the Enterprise as she appeared in Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond is "my" Enterprise. Probably due to the hundreds of pages of arguments about how big she is (725 meters!!!!!)

Definitely the Intrepid. I think the design is gorgeous, it is sleek and actually looks 'sensible' from a starship design stand-point. Even the interior I love: the bridge layout is wonderful.

Runner-up would be the Galaxy class. A big, majestic, pleasure-liner. It's lovely.

The ENTERPRISE refit from TMP is - quite literally - a work of Art. The Art Deco influences are pronounced and appreciated. It's the most impressive-looking starship, by far. However ...

My favourite starship is the ENTERPRISE "D." Lavishly appointed and luxurious, by any standard, it's most satisfactory! My idea of a starship! And despite being impressive in design, the bridge isn't at all oppressive with its high tech offerings. And despite bristling with weapons, the "D" is Lady. Elegant and sophisticated, its exterior is a pleasure to behold.
