What is you favorite episode of science fiction/fantasy television?

Name the episode title and the show it's from, and if so inclined give a reason why it's your favorite.

Mine:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Episode: "Hush"

Why? The Giles exposition scene and the fact that he brought his own theme music for it. :) Oh and the episode is outstanding as a whole.

The Angel puppet episode.
The Supernatural Lucky Rabbit's Foot Episode
Chuck vs Tom Sawyer
Season 3 finale of Babylon 5
Season 1 Finale of Heroes
Buffy Passion Part 1 and 2, Graduation Part 1 and 2, The Zeppo
NuBSG New Caprica Arc
DS9 Far Beyond The Stars, In The Pale Moonlight, Any Feregi Episode(yes I said it)
TNG To All Good Things, Best of Both Worlds Part 1
TOS Balance of Terror
NuWho The Sound of Drums

The brass ring shall ever be Babylon 5's "The Long Twilight Struggle". Others that come to mind... Lost's "Live Together Die Alone"... DS9's "Sacrifice of Angels"... BSG's "Exodus Part Two"... Farscape's "Won't Get Fooled Again"... Angel's "Reprise".. Buffy's "Restless"...

Buck Rogers - "Space Vampire"

Futurama - "The Series Has Landed"

Star Trek - toss-up between "The Changling" and "The Omega Glory"

Star Trek TNG - "Conspiracy"

I have to agree with "Hush" from Buffy. Those guys were just so CREEPY!

Boy, lots of great episodes from lots of great shows. No way I can pick one:

Buffy: Once More With Feeling
Angel: Smile Time
Farscape: Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Firefly: Objects in Space
Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus
Futurama: Luck of the Fryrish
Star Trek: The City On The Edge Of Forever
Star Trek The Next Generation: The Inner Light
Star Trek Deep Space Nine: In the Pale Moonlight
Heroes: TIE Company Man and Five Years Gone

Babylon 5 "To Sleep in Light" was pure beauty and nicely wrapped up the series, while still leaving some things open, giving us hope that the B5 universe would continue

Futurama "Jurassic Bark," "Godfellows," "The Why of Fry"

There are way too many to mention them all, so I'll just quickly mention one favorite.

Firefly: Out of Gas

Absolutely perfect television, IMHO.

:techman:

"The Debt, Part II" - Xena: Warrior Princess.

This episode was filled with flashbacks where we meet a formidable woman named Lao Ma who shows Xena "The Way". In the Xenaverse, Lao Ma was the one who wrote the Tao Te Ching, giving credit to her bed-ridden but ruthless dictator husband Lao Tzu so that he could be remembered as a wise and compassionate leader.
