What is the greatest lesson?

think

Because I think I have to?

(I am just wondering right now.)

like: Do unto others as they do unto you.

or maybe. Get yours while the getting is good.

or say., If it feels good do it.

possibly the karma one .., What goes around comes around.

or even so. Know thy self. or Thy will not mine, be done.

what about some input here?

The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and to be loved in return.

What? Am I the only one who watched Moulin Rouge?

yeah but love is like a fracken red windmill always spinning when the wind blows, where is love when nothing is even slightly important? but where .,

love becomes hate when ignorance is mixed with it! so then what?

love is a idea, that makes nothing more important or less important but finding true love or real love or as even a manageable compromise is close to impossible these days?

So do not get me started on love because .,, just forget it love is truly most unreal to me in light and in dark => outside the effects of being awake again.

you did not need to know that but what~ever is the soul mate's fracken desire comes to no surprise like wise.

Ah, I have a lot of fortune cookie philosophy that I keep with me.

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop

Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes

Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it

This one I hold especially dear:

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do

A good one is

Walk a mile in someone's shoes BEFORE you judge them
But baseless judgments are way more fun!

wait I can't get them on, what now. shoe size is everything, sometimes?

what is fun actually, any more then - something being .., unfun or not fun ?

are lessons to be fun or about fun or just meant for the funny pages?

Sadly, I have it on DVD.

Someone once asked me this and I told her "The most important life lesson you can learn, is that the universe in all it's mystery and complexity will always revolve around one true thing, one thing you can believe in, praise and devote your entire life to. That thing is me."

Not the best first date, I'll admit...

I've always been fond of the City Slickers 'One thing' line. Though it's not something that reflects well when written down, so here it is on YouTube instead...

I suppose it's a good idea if one wants to live. :p

Seriously, though, all of life is it's own greatest lesson.

South park is like too real for this side of the galaxy, really.,

as for making poop out the mouth .,, I recently was depressed and angry at life.., so I put on the messenger thingy to read Eat shit and die.,, I have sense changed that to love thyself but yeah .,, south park is the best real show on tv have to watch more of that .., Of course i prefer the Meat wade antics on aaaa-dult swimming time.,,

right now although I am: well not me, but a friend is going beyond psychotic at this point and I and or a professional needs to talk him down but I am lost as to the actual approach ., He uses me as a spring board and listening post for the most part but when to actually transition between me and the professionals concerns me at this point.,,?

Think, first, make sure you're confident that this person trusts you and your opinion. Then try to plant the idea in his head without it being about telling him/her what to do. You should frame it in hypotheticals and personal experience. In doing so, also try to address and assuage any fears they'd have. Then, once seeded, allow the idea to grow in their mind so they can later own it and believe in it. Subtly remind from time to time if nothing happens.
