Partial Gamification said:Janeway is coming form the perspective that Tuvoc and Neelix are still alive, trapped, within the abomination of Tuvix. She's is proved right, as they are returned to their normal selves. I would do the same but clone and brainscan/mindmeld (isn't there another vulcan on Voyager or are there pon farr pangs I'm forgetting) the abomination and technobabble a new character into the mix that Janeway could then kill off in a couple episodes.
In the episode Warlord, the conciousness (call him a space ghost why not?) of an old despot named Tieran had been jumping consciousnesses for hundreds of years staying one step ahead of his enemies, until his mind transferred into the driving seat of young Kes' firm little body, and he had the mental powers of an angry god, which is exactly how he used them.those lines and your interpretation,
You're not making it up, are you? Disturbing!!!
PS. what is "Tieran-Kes"?!
Warlord is almost the Kes episode.
Better yet, what if they declared Khaleesi? What if Tuvok and Tuvix BOTH went into pon farr at the same time and they declared kal-if-fee on each other?
Nothing was gone, nothing lost just rearranged. As such Tuvix, in my opinion at least, spoke for Tuvok and Neelix when he begged not to split him, because Tuvok and Neelix had no awareness beyond or seperate from Tuvix, so his opinion were also theirs by default.
Or if we want to be completely honest Slimy is when a man who is not handsome tries to begin a relationship.
Handsome men can do awful things and women don't mind.
He deserved to die.
Is The Kes a re-booted version of Kes?Warlord is almost the Kes episode.
It's certainly my the Kes episode. As in, only.
According to Warlord...
40 percent of Tuvok wanted to push Kes up against a wall and put a baby in her, if anything ever happened to his wife.someone were disrupting your ability to concentrate. [telepathically] It's a helpless feeling, isn't it.
TUVOK: You will not break my control.
TIERAN-KES: [telepathically] Not break you, free you from all that repression. All you have to do is let go. I can help you release your own strength, and give you what you've always secretly desired.
TUVOK: I have never desired Kes.
TIERAN-KES: [telepathically] All those hours you spent alone together, all those intimate moments touching each other's minds, you've never even wondered what it might be like?
Which means that 70 percent of Tuvix was unwholesomely drawn to Kes.
And lets not forget how destructive unchecked Vulcan Emotions are, but there are rules.
Tuvok is married, so he kept that #### in check.
Kes would have left.
Imagine if Kes had stayed for another three episodes, what would the consequences of that have been?
(Day of Honor, Nemesis and Revulsion.)
Or an adulterer.I guess that makes him polyamorous.
Kes tried desperately to be polite to Tuvix, but wanted Neelix back. As to Neelix, some might say "Good Riddance". But would Tuvix be the better alternative to Neelix? At least I liked the interaction between Tuvok "Mr. Vulcan" and Neelix, so in the end I was glad to have them both back as was the rest of the Voyager crew.
You don´t want to know about Mirror Universe Kes. If you do, David Mack´s Rise Like Lion is the hell of a read.
As to Neelix, he later found Dexa.![]()
