Spoilers What if the Guardian sending Philippa back in time,...

Ooh, back to 2160s, birth of the federation, with guest stars from Enterprise!

"I'm gonna send you back to a time when the mirror universe and the prime universe were still aligned. That's so you won't fall apart. Atomically speaking."

Could mean any time including at least 2150s onwards (with the Defiant), through to the 2370s (DS9)

Or maybe the years of the post atomic horror after First Contact. Perhaps around 2079 (the time of Q's tribunal mentioned in "Encounter at Farpoint").

She would very well fit in during these years and because of her redemption, it's possible that she's even the founder of what becomes Section 31, which may have started as a force for good ;)

My guess is if Yeoh continues working with Paramount on Star Trek, it would either be with SNW or in some future film project. The S31 show was supposed to be her vehicle, but it seems like there's little enthusiasm for it. Fans spoke loudly about wanting the Pike series. There was no such clamor for this. She could come back to Discovery but honestly I thought she had a pretty good chemistry with Mount. Discovery could do with a slightly smaller cast, anyway.

causes the anomaly in Season 4?

Considering her character ending up in the past supposedly may cause some changes for the timeline. And because it appears to be very likely that the times after the temporal wars are shielded from the effects of time travel, it could be that instead of changing events in the 32nd century, the anomaly was born...

Guess it would make some sense. What do you think?

I think it's highly unlikely. The 32nd century is not shielded from time travel. The Discovery crew being able to travel to the 32nd century proves that. The Guardian was shown to be aware of changes to the timeline and is quite literally older than Earth. I doubt it would have taken an action that would have led to something like the anomaly occurring .

No.

Georgiou was sent back to the 23rd century, to set up the Section 31 series. That's what this whole Guardian subplot is about.

We don't know where or to when Georgiou has been sent and the Prime and mirror universes were aligned closely enough until the 2700's.

Yes, she is the lead, but that does not mean it is in the 23rd century. Kurtzman said people would be surprised by the setting when asked about the show the last time he confirmed it was still in the works. That is a vague statement but could mean the time period for the series is not the 23rd century. That's all I am saying, we don't know when she was sent, but she was sent to the likely S31 show's time period.

They may want that show to be in a different time period than SNW, which didn't exist when they first announced S31. Or they may want it in the same time with crossovers. Nobody outside of the Trek creative team knows this.

My money is on the series being set in the 24th century Mirror Universe after the fall of the Klingon/Cardassian alliance.

It would be sad if not done because of outspoken fans.

as great an actor as Yeoh is, I admit I was not looking forward to a Section 31 show. It sounds dark, nasty and probably in CBS's comfort zone of police procedural stuff. But I know some did want it, and i am sorry if not everything comes together. There's always hope, of course. It appears they are doing first in-first out for Trek shows now, so after Picard wraps up, assuming it's only getting three seasons, I suppose that window would be open.

If the S31 show doesn't happen, I hope they find a way to bring Georgiou back to the 32nd Century and back to DSC. I don't care how lame the technobabbly reason is. She wouldn't fit in on SNW and even less on PIC.

If she can't be in S31, she should be in DSC.
