Beethoven's landlady was very criticle of him as well. The only record we have of what he thought of her was three G's and an E Flat. I'm assuming it wasn't a compliment.
hiLARious
Truly lol'd. Thanx.
Lyrics to the theme was a cheap ploy, but one employed by MANY pop stars of the day, attaching their name as a sort of blackmail - if you want me to record the song and make you money, I get a kickback, basically. Doesn't make it right, though, and the lyrics to ST don't scan right with the melody as written by ACourage
You know we also sent Beethoven's fifth symphony out into space supposedly to meet God or some other race along with some other scribblings. Reading material for the aliens when they come to conquer us?
Though to be fair, Beethoven's three g's and an E flat - you know (You F'n b, eat s. and die) is offset by the last movement's Humanistically triumphant triplet and an accented quarter note which suggests something more like - I am the god, of my domain.. etc. Similar actually to the theme of the Motion picture. Coming into one's own music. They should have sent the ninth we want to be brothers music though.
This explains TMP, doesn't it. God's answer.
