Crazy that came out in 2005, doesn't seem so long ago. When I think of Lake Bell I think of that old show Surface. Anyone remember that? A boy made friends basically with a little sea monster and then it grew up.
D'oh! How could I forget that? Great movie!I remember her as being the star, writer and director of the criminally overlooked movie called In a World…
Wanda doesn't have her powers unlocked yet (but does have them as we learned in Wandavision), same with Quicksilver.
I think my hubby has a crush on Lake Bell
Children’s Hospital.
I mainly remember her for her spell on Boston Legal (reprising a role she originally played in The Practice) but it seems I’ve probably heard her more than seen her over the last decade or so.
I assume we'll see a continuation of all these stories in Season 2.![]()

I liked her voice work on this episode; but I do find it jarring that we have some characters voiced by the original actors and others who are not.
And using Green for Howard was inspired.
I enjoyed that show, giving up on Threshold after a few episodes and never getting into Invasion. Who didn't like Nim? I was really hoping we'd see in season 2 the changed world that the cliffhanger season finale set up.When I think of Lake Bell I think of that old show Surface. Anyone remember that? Yeah, that's been weird for me too, for most of these kind of show's I've watched, it's all different actors or all original actors. The only one I can think of that also did that was the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, which brought back Christopher Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Daniels, and Matthew Wood, and then everone else was different.I loved this series. It was an eighties throwback to Spielberg movies. I had known Bell from Boston Legal prior to this show. Surface came out the same year as invasion and Threshold--all of which had great promise but didn't survive long enough to really find their time to shine. But that's a different thread.
