What happened to Day One??

I was keen when I saw the first trailer over a year ago, but now apparently it's been boxed and will never see the light of day!

It's a shame they couldn't have at least gotten a TV movie, miniseries, or straight-to-DVD movie out it since a lot of footage was already shot. What little of it we saw looked pretty good.

Yeah, it was about 6 or 7 months ago I saw some thread here about it.

So, since it got cancelled (is that right?) then did they ever tell what the story was all about?

First I've heard of it, but man, I would have liked to see it. Wiki is saying it was originally slated for 13 eps, then only 4 and now they may only air the pilot. Sad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_One_(TV_series)

Ah, I was wondering what happened to this show. Weird that they spent money on it and apparently have a completed pilot but will never air it. Can't they burn it off on a late night or something?

I guess with shows like V, Flash Forward & the Event, they probably felt there were to many similar type shows on at the same time.

That or they're holding it back as a mid-season replacement.
