What games have really disappointed you?

I really like the Doom 2016 remake, but I found myself not enjoying the recent sequel so much. Doomguy feels way too slow and clunky, and combat is too over-reliant on that "finishing move" gimmick. Plus they introduced this weird "lives" system with checkpoints, and other gimmicks/minigames that kinda ruin what makes Doom Doom (running around killing demons with guns). I haven't finished it and its been pushed really far back on my back burner.

The original Deus Ex was such a great game, lots of the spoken stuff really was neat and even now would have fitted in with the world as it is today, so many of the things discussed or mentioned would have been a conspiracy nuts wet dream come true.... But I digress the original was perfect.

Slightly Scarlet Hollow, and I have to learn not to buy into the positive Steam reviews. Games such as those sudden become a lens to a moral compass I never knew I had and then - what horror that was promised seems to falter.

Well it is an early access game so there's your answer.

I got sucked in by videos and bought TogetherBnB

So far Trails of Cold Steel IV is a let down given the series legacy.

There's always been an anime-ness to the writing but within five hours of starting the game it's gone full on perv.
