What games are you playing currently?

I finished the main story of Far Cry 6, and while I didn't get everything, I was ready to move on, so I went back to Star Wars Outlaws. I might go back and get some of the stuff I missed on FC6, but I not right now.

Gex 64. Nothing too special, but much better than the 50% ish scores it got back in the day! And hearing Gex spew Austin Powers quotes had me googling Austin Powers' first movie, which was earlier than I thought and thus current when Gex 64 was a thing.

Never felt older than getting dated references in a retro video game.

For me games like Far Cry 6 are fun but once the main story is done I am usually done with them as there's nothing more that really interests me.

late last night in Pokemon Legends ZA i finally got myself a shiny magikarp. i learned about the fast travel back and forth to the falls park area that has the magikarp by that youtuber Austin something.

Speaking of big games like FC6 and their lovely open world on a whim I restarted Just Cause 3 and finding fun out of it. Not sure if I want to finish the main story but it is real fun blasting around on a parachute or wingsuit and blowing stuff up.

I picked up Star Wars Jedi: Survivor while we were shopping at Wal-Mart this morning. I had just gone to look and see how much Spider-Man: Miles Morales was, but when I saw that Jedi: Survivor was only $20 compared to $50 for Miles Morales, I couldn't pass it up. It looks like one of the movie was screwed and kept, but after several tries and skipped the movie, and it turned out it was crashing at the transition between movie and gameplay, so luckily I didn't miss anything but skipping it. Other than that's it's been grate so far.

Industria 2 is out! I won't be able to play for awhile due to computer issues but I loved the first one, and I am curious if the story ends up making sense.

Just cause 4 but hating it. Only go it because it was going cheap. The graphics look dated and old the AI is wonky.

You can't roam 10 feet without enemy AI teleporting to your location. Just cause 3 had everything and looked nicer

Is that the one with the tethering? I can't remember, but I think it is. I found that one annoying the further you got into the game. And it's because its idea of difficulty is to spawn mass numbers of enemies at you in all directions. It became so frustrating as they all have perfect aim, and when you're swarmed, you don't even have time to activate your special abilities. I feel like I was near the end when I gave up out of frustration due to the swarming enemies that made it nearly impossible to get through.

I kind of felt the same way with Red Faction Guerilla. All that destruction is only good until you realize it means you're destroying potential cover.

Yes it's that game.

Just Cause 3 is the only one in the series I like.

I don't know if I've played the 3rd game, but I know I've played the first two. It's funny because the first two feature a character that nearly looks like Sully from the Uncharted series and with the same voice actor.

But the Just Cause series while fun suffer a flaw many open-world action games tend to suffer from and it's that enemies tend to know wherever you are at all times and become overly aggressive.

That last point covers a lot of open world games. I also started part 2 of The Last Of Us and hoping it as good as the first one but so far all I enduring is cutscenes and that stupid guitar puzzle after which more cutscenes...

I haven't started to play this properly yet because it bends my head a bit..... The game is called Date Everything where you can date household objects, and furniture, yes even the couch and you can pretend to be the VP.

Thanks. I think there were 46 trophies in all. Wasn't all that difficult, more time consuming than anything. The more difficult challenges involved things that were a little annoying, but not impossible. I think in the end, this was one of the more fun Lego games due to the way everything was structured.

I have this one on PC but I can't play it for long because for me I get bored, the only Lego game I have ever fully completed was the Lego Movie game.

Finished Gex 64 and immediately onto Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. LCARS graphics in the hub area!
N64 Magazine gave this game 22% back in the day. Travesty.

Which movie? You talking about the one they released before Skywalker Saga that was only The Force Awakens?

finished mouse p.i. so back to focusing on st:resurgence and the miskatonic, and various demos

Would be curious to hear what you thought about the game. I've had my eye on it.

Currently on PC, I'm playing En Garde which is a fun little game that features fencing as its combat. Can get a little hectic at times though, but you can use the environment in your attacks.

On PS5, I'm playing Murdered: Soul Suspect, and while I originally played this on PC, I forgot how good this game is. As a ghost investigating your own death, you get a medium as a sidekick, and as a former detective, you can help lost souls find peace by solving little mysteries.
