What games are you playing currently?

That's too bad. I've been looking forward to it, but I'll definitely buy it at a discount. It definitely needed an upgrade though.

I'm playing some now-older Star Wars titles, some of them for the first time. I'm on "The Force Unleashed" now. Coming from the KotoR and Jedi Knight games, I find the gameplay in TFU really annoying, especially the way it makes you follow very specific button sequences to beat the bosses.

Argh, this idiotic star destroyer boss level using keyboard and mouse. :brickwall:
By the time you get the ship in position, yet another wave of TIE fighters comes at you, so you have a few seconds to try to "rip it down" like General Koda is telling you, before having to give up or get killed by the fighters. And then by the time you get rid of the fighters, the destroyer has drifted way out of whack again! :scream:

Noooooooo don't dump it it's good it's just that it's not perfect.......

I have only had one major bug and that is launching the game we go to black screen forever and the only way to start the game is to alt+tab out and back in.... Somehow that makes the game start. Weird bug and others have had it happen but no one wants to acknowledge it as something wrong.

Well, I wasn't going to buy it at full price anyway and I knew it wasn't perfect, but then, what is? I read a review that hilariously claimed it didn't have enough modern conveniences, even given the fact that it was built from the ground up to have modern conveniences such as cover which the original didn't have, only dodge&roll.

After spending over two hours on this stupid level last night, I just beat it in five minutes by finding a trainer with invincibility cheat. :shifty:

I remember that part, as it was featured in the trailers. The problem was that the first game had poor hitboxes and was very picky about interaction. So, that part is not so much hard because of game difficulty, but because of the game mechanics themselves making it much harder. And it was particularly important in this level seeing as timing was important, but the unless you were positioned correctly, sometimes the game didn't acknowledge that you were trying to pull them down. Fortunately, the sequel improved things and plays more as intended.

Watching The Rise of Skywalker the other day got me in the mood for more Star Wars, so I started a second play through of Jedi: Fallen Order.

They totally changed the "Sarah" chapter too it's actually much better

I've been taking a break from Star Wars games to play Batman: Arkham Asylum. The mouse controls are buggy, causing much frustration at a point about 40% in.
I think I'll go back to Star Wars now.

OK free ride in Mafia Definitive edition is fun but the map is quite small but considering it's a linear game with no free roam outside of missions it's understandable.

After taking a roughly 18 month break from the game, I decided to give Assassin's Creed: Odyssey another shot. The first time I just couldn't get into it from some reason and I stopped playing it about about 10 hours. Well now I'm really enjoying it and I spent the whole weekend playing it. ;)

I picked up Squadrons and tried playing it with mouse. It’s so hard cause I keep instinctively moving the cursor on top of the thing I’m shooting which makes it over correct. Need to find a good joystick.

I went back to Assassin's Creed: Origins this morning, but I kept trying to use the Fallen Order controls, so after about the third or fourth time I died, I gave up and switched over to Fallen Order.
I realized a while back that most action games use a similar control layout, with square as a weak attack, triangle as a strong attack, and x as jump, but the Assassin's Creed games use a totally different layout.

I tried installing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II from a DVD-Rom I've had for years, but the game refuses to run on Windows 10.
