I finished a playthrough of The Outer Worlds a few days ago (a pro-Board playthrough, instead of the good guy I played in my first playthrough), and now I'm playing Pillars of Eternity on PS4. Its a fun D&D-ish game, but its load times are a real pain. Not quite enough to make me stop playing the game, but its pretty inexcusable for a game like this to need 20-30 second loads to enter/exit buildings, and even to go to a different floor in one building.
Have you watched the speedrun of The Outer Worlds? It's like 12 minutes or something. Hold on I'll post it.
Wow, that was wild. Speed runners can do really mind blowing things, and even the devs in that video were surprised by the speed running tricks.

Well finished Borderlands 2 main story campaign. What a stupid fight? that last battle was.... Just spam phaselock and blast the warrior at the portal where you enter the vault and you're done...... Jack talks too much so didn't let him talk just capped his ass.
If you just hang out at the portal you can kill the warrior with your strongest weapon and he can't touch you..... Super easy

I think it's been an amazing year or two for game narratives. Between RDR2 and The Last of Us II, I think we've been getting some of the best gaming stories.
At least Red Dead was set in the past with no big planet killing boom

Currently Jurassic World Evolution (theme park strategy game in the Jurassic Park world).
Pretty fun game and at times hilarious - you can get contracts from one of the subdivisions you manage (basically small missions) and one of them recently was "Don't have guests killed by Dinosaurs for 5 minutes"
I don't know if this was intentional humor, sarcasm or whatever but i found that funny - as if your bosses already factored in human losses running the theme park.

Just got Spiderman earlier this week and been playing it.
Steam forums are a fun place right now. Horizon Zero Dawn just dropped for preorder and the forum for that game is a hot mess with people trolling about this being a sin because they ported it to PC and people feeling hurt that their console game is now on PC.
