What games are you playing currently?

I rage quit Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. I died maybe twenty times on the world 2 boss (the boss fight is very time consuming and one fuck up and you're starting over) and had to turn it off before throwing the controller. Say what you will about Nintendo making nothing but kiddie games, but no other game company makes games that make me rage more than Nintendo. And anyone who says the new Donkey Kong Country games made by Retro are easier than the Rare ones are full of shit. I still don't have any problems 101, 102 or 103%-ing DKC 1-3. Retro just designs their games with a lot of cheap death traps.

Yea that game is pretty hard. Tried it out and ended up deleting it for now until I beat Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Played some Pokémon Shuffle last night along with some Smash and some Super Mario Maker.

Yeah, I agree that some of the boss fights go on a bit too long. Can't you buy some extra hearts from Funky Kong to help out?

The lives aren't the problem. I had a stockpile of around 100 when I started the fight, but by the time the rage set in I was down to around 80

No, I mean the extra heart. It increases your maximum hit points by one. I believe you can also buy a Kong Barrel and, assuming you have a partner when you enter the level, will activate when your partner dies.

Interesting. I might have to check that out. Thanks!

Went back to Dragon Age: Inquisition again (yay PC streaming on the PS4 so now I can play everywhere in the house my Vita can't reach!) and Star Wars the Old Republic. I'm still playing Dungeons and Dragons Online a few days a week as well.

I tried out Ghost in the Shell Online for the free weekend and while it was fun, I just can't get into competitive FPS shooters anymore. Even ones with single player don't hold my interest for long. RPGs, action games and adventure titles are mostly my bag anymore.

I beat Far Cry 3. An ok to mediocre story concludes with an ending so idiotic it makes me hate the entire story as a whole. It has decent gameplay, but its story ended up being really stupid.

Just started to play Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. It's pretty fun so far. Also am working on playing Plants vs. Zombies.

Finished ROTTR last night with the wife - great game until the end, although the last couple of bossfights are a bit naff.

Just quit it with the QTEs in cutscenes, Crystal D. If you want to show me a cool looking action sequence in a cutscene, just let me watch.

There's a couple of games I would like to knock out, i.e. finish - if I can find the time.

I just want them off my bucket list at this point. Halo 5, DA:I singleplayer DLCs, Fallout 4, AC Syndicate. I think I'll go with Halo first, should be the most linear thing with little chance to get distracted (read: go all side-content OCD).

Finishing games feels good and is increasingly becoming a thing I want to do in and of itself.

I have the whole week off which gives me plenty of time to play Uncharted 4, which I've played for roughly seven hours so far. ;)
