What games are you playing currently?

I'm a third of the way into Assassin's Creed Unity. It's so nice to be back in an ancient European city again, and since this is my first XB1 game the graphics look very nice (though not the glaring improvement I expected). Looks like another AC game that does absolutely nothing to advance the main storyline though...

I was going to play Legacy of the Void's campaign, but I forgot that I never finished Heart of the Swarm. Sigh, I suppose I have to finish that first ...

Stupid Kerrigan.

Wow, so I'm not the only one still playing SCII. Finished LotV two days ago, thought the epic ending set up in WoL and HotS was, well, pretty epic! Also, I've finally warmed to playing as the Protoss, by far the least favourite of the three races, although going by the lore they are my most favourite, which is really weird. By the end of the campaign there are some very useful abilities, namely one that should have been part of the Protoss since the beginning, there's finally a way to repair their units, yay! Can't believe it's taken 17 years, but it can finally be done.

Can't wait for the mission packs to be released, although this being Blizzard I'm talking about it could be a while longer than the anticipated June 2016 release date:guffaw:

They just introduced backwards compatibility. Right now there's a list of over a hundred games that they plan to expand on a month by month basis. Go to Xbox.com and it's under the Xbox one tab.

OK then maybe buying a 360 is the way to go.. Why is that model still on sale if they have the X Boner?

You usually have overlap during the lifespan of consoles.

But it makes my decision hard....

I'd like to join the console race but not sure which one is the better thing to get.

Well the phone is the one that will have games made for it for a few years to come, the 360 won't have very many more games made for it. There is/will be a catalogue of Xbox 360 games that will play on it. So least partially best of both worlds with the Xbox one. There's always the PS4, WiiU or upcoming Nintendo NX to consider or a steam machine which is basically a PC that will access your steam library and play games through the TV for you. No need to limit your choice to Xbox.

But I like the connectivity with Windows machines.. So that puts the X boner on the plus side for me. And I can be a console person and a PC Person too.

Sony are releasing a remote play app for PC in the near future. If you have a decent gaming PC steam have just released a Micro console that will stream from steam on your PC to your TV.
