I kid you not!
For myself, I feel better eating it outside rather than indoors for some reason -- it could be the mix of salt, butter, and tanginess that just says "outdoors" for me. But I put about that amount on a bowl of popcorn. I can't douse it in hot sauce, but hey, who am I to tell anyone how to eat it?

Yeah that's the brand pepper sauce I use. Tabasco is delicious. Just a bit and its ready to go.

This thread is starting to give me flashbacks to living in Japan - where they don't use muffins for their sausage mcmuffins, but wrap the spicy sausage patty and cheese in two piklets.

I did not instantly like the TOS Enterprise when I first saw it in 1966. I'd been watching science fiction for about 7 years by then, and it didn't look like anything I'd seen before except for the saucer shape. I don't mean the details and contours, I mean that it's a flying saucer trope. It took a while before I became comfortable with the entire design and its multiple sections. Any Trek spinoff since tends to follow the same basic design. In that respect, the Nu version isn't really that different enough at all to be universe shattering. It would have to be something we've never seen in any other sci-fi film or tv show ever to do that.

No question.
The swept back nacelles, the beautiful blue deflector & bussards, the larger size....there's really no contest. It combines the best of the original version and the A, all with a modern twist.
The only thing the original iteration of the ship has going for it is nostalgia. The fact that many trekkie's disavow anything having to do with the Abramsverse also plays a huge role in those numbers, which is unfortunate.

The original has some nice aspects. The clean look of the saucer section as well as the nacelles which tend to be not as top heavy as the new one. I do like the saucer on the new one because it keeps the TMP refit look and enlarged it.

I totally agree, the original 1701 is my least favourite Enterprise, along with the short-lived C. I know it's a very unpopular view, but I'm not some kid who just likes 'kewl' ridiculous spaceships like the Scimitar or Vengeance for example, I'm 41 years old in a month, and I've been watching Trek since I was 5, starting with TOS. It remains my least favourite for some reason.

I see you rank the C low on both lists. I dunno, it just didn't have any nice 'lines' or 'grace' to it. Even the Excelsior and B had a bit of grace and design to them and I'm not the biggest fan of those. The C just looked... dull to me.

The nacelle pylons not being just 90 degree angles would have helped it a million percent. I quite like the saucer and the basic shape of the secondary hull, it's the rest of it that lets it down. It just looks like a stumpy toy to me.
