What DS9 species would you be?

captain boday's species, hands down.

nah, jokes aside. romulans and trills have always fascinated me. especially trills. i have a thing for the spots.

^^Oh, I doubt that.

You, { Emilia }, claimed to want to be Jadzia--and iguana basically "agreed" with an assesment I once made....

He really didn't, did he? Oh well. Cast ye not your pearls before talk-radio commentators, I guess.

"...lest they trample over you". Remind me to instruct you, one day, on the role of the "straight-man".

Good night and good luck.

Well..."What DS9 species would you be?" and answering Jem'Hadar doesn't seem the worst thing too me...so then there is your(Rush) post above mine where iguana_tonante is mentioned...I am kinda confused...which may or may not happen often. :p

You're fine. He just does that.

Side note: I once took part in a thread which asked who would win: the Jem'Hadar or the Borg.

I pointed out that, as Worf said, "The Borg have neither honor nor courage. That is our greatest advantage."

OTOH, there are many instances on DS9 where the Jem'Hadar display both honor and courage. "Rocks and Shoals" comes to mind, as does the First who battled Worf in the prison.

Make what you will of that.

However...if you're a Jem'Hadar, and I'm a changeling...then I am a god to you.

Bow, my child, to the Maharushie, and recieve the gifts I shall bestow unto thee.

Since when does honour win wars?

Dropping a nuke does.

My point being: You should stop watching bad Samurai movies with Tom Cruise. (Well, crap... he even lost in that one, didn't he? But they fought for HONOUR!!!)

I can't stop, if I never saw it. And I never saw it.

As to your main point--honor and courage don't guarantee victory, but honor gives a motivation to fight, and courage gives a good boost of endurance.

See: The American Revolution. And in Trek history--the Bajoran Resistance, The Dominon War...the struggles against the Borg....
