What do you want to see in Star Trek XIV?

Another five-year mission adventure. The possibilities are limitless - put a new spin on classic characters and situations a la Into Darkness, or do something all-new again like Beyond. Reimagined steampunk Borg would be cool.

And keep doing 5ym adventures until it's unprofitable!

STIV: The Enterprise crew encounter a causality paradox which forces them to watch the events of STIII take place in reverse. The movie ends with the crew looking around and shrugging.

Continue the five year mission began in Star Trek Beyond, but still encounter the Klingons :klingon: too.

A full-blown TNG/DS9/VOY (NOT Nu versions - the originals) multi-dimensional crossover with NuTrek. We never really quite got a proper full cast crossover with them and TOS: TOS cast were too expensive and/or difficult, plus TOS cast started passing away. They "need" to do this before TNG cast start passing on.

Oh, and of course - a story worthy of the crossover, too.

An exciting but thoughtful middle episode that effectively bridges STB with STXV. Maybe a cliffhanger.

I will like to see JJ return including the whole cast and I hope its the final film. I am even surprised there is going to be a 4th film.

TNG reboot.

THIS.

Except I'm kind of an anomaly for wishing "The Next Generation" was the actual "next generation" after Kirk's. E.G. Fleet Admiral James T. Kirk is the guy who recommends Jean Luc Picard for command of the new Enterprise.

Me too. When I first heard in the 80s that there would be a Next Generation, thats what I thought it might be. Saaviks generation. Not 3 or 4 generations later.

All six captains, all six ships. An anti-time anomaly forms in the immediate aftermath of the Hobus event. Admiral Janeway goes rogue and takes her personal flagship into the heart of the anomaly and is sent into the nuTimeline (offset a few years).

The Sisko, as an all-seeing Prophet, sees complete destruction to the entire multiverse should she be successful. So he returns to reality and recruits his old crew and a retired Captain Picard and his old crew to travel into the anomaly and prevent Janeway from succeeding.

These future ships from another timeline spread anti-time throughout the quadrant as Captain Kirk (Pine) and crew are forceably recruited by a retired Admiral Archer (Bakula in makeup) and his old museum ship under the assumption of a resumption of the Temporal Cold War. Also, I guess, the new TV series captain and crew are recruited here.

Eventually they put their heads together, Kirk taking the lead, Janeway is humbled, maybe Archer dies or something, and the movie ends with an old Kirk (William Shatner) telling the events to a protege in some vague future period.

The movie will gross about $8 million.

I don't want a TNG reboot (due to the butterfly effect, there's no way that any of the characters in TNG will exist in the Abrams timeline anyway), but I wouldn't half mind actors FROM it playing other characters.

So have Patrick Stewart, for example, playing Picard - not Jean-Luc, but whichever Picard was alive during the 2260's.

Nurse Chapel and Yeoman Rand!

chapel got transferred to another ship. it was mentioned in into darkness so rand has a better chance of making a cameo. it such a shame for nurse chapel because she probably saw spock first before uhura.

A year passed between the events of Into Darkness and the ship embarking on its 5 year mission. If the writers were so inclined, that's one heck of a window for a transfer. And even if the ship is already in deep space, there's nothing narratively to stop Chapel from transferring in the frontier, either.

This is a timeline where Kirk can become captain with only 3 years of academy experience. A simple transfer is child's play, especially considering how quickly Pike was reassigned as captain of the Enterprise and Spock was transferred to the Bradbury very quickly, with all three officers greatly outranking Chapel.

What do you want to see?

Destroy that god-awful nuEnterprise and have them christen the nuEnterprise-A.

Although it's possible that might actually happen in Star Trek Beyond. ;)
When I saw STID I loved the look and size of the new Enterprise, even so I would have been fine if the Enterprise had been destroyed and the Vengeance had been refitted and christened the Enterprise A.

It would have been BOSS.

Wishful thinking I know.

I do expect an Enterprise A at some point in the films, the end of STID would have been ideal circumstance wise to introduce it but clearly the script writers had other ideas.

Hoping we at least see some of the advances from the Vengeance incorporated into the refit Enterprise and used in the new film.

I wouldn't mind seeing a "real" Vengeance - not one that's used for what Admiral Marcus intended it for, of course, but an actual production line version of the class. Because you know there's blueprints still sitting around in Starfleet's mainframes, and they could build new ones whenever they wanted.

As repugnant as Marcus' intentions were, it would be silly to just discard that super-advanced class on a whim. Think of what that kind of technology could do for Starfleet's REAL mission.
