What Do You Think SGU's Final Scene Will Be?

The Wormhole

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
I got ahead of myself in another thread and thought up these two scenes that could be SGU's final scene. In one, they've resolved whatever the story of the episode is. We then see Eli walking down a corridor, chekcing things out om the kino remote padd thing. We then hear some clanking. Eli looks up, turns around and sees one Replicator bug. "What the-" Eli starts before noticing a swarm of other bugs following it. Cue Replicator theme. Then we see a humanoid figure walking among the bugs. The bugs clear to the side revealing it to be Dr. Rush, who then says "things just got a lot more complicated around here." Replicator theme continues as the Executive Producer credits appear.

In another, Colonel Young find himself in a Nazi field hospital with a Sombreroid in a Nazi uniform.

Or option 3, in a sly referance to viewers abandoning the show we could have the mysterious "alien gods" that Dr. Caine worshipped watching over Destiny and the crew, until finally out of boredom they decide to check out what else is going on in the universe.

Well, what can you think up for SGU's final scene?

A montage of the crew onboard Destiny, with a lameass pop song playing.

What else could it possibly be?

*Destiny drops out of FTL near a verdant lush planet*

"Col. Young, we're being hailed from the planet. They have identified themselves as Furlings and are requesting our aid against their ancient enemy. Something they refer to as..."

*To be continued*

Oh, they will get home somehow. Some weird anomaly will appear out of no where and drag their sorry butts home.

Or...
Dr. Rodney McKay will come up with something brilliant (as always) and save their sorry butts.

Or...
They will all die...no one will save their sorry butts. Problem solved.

:p

Edit...

Furlings...Nice one.

The last scene will be Dr. Rush saying "Computer End Program" as we learn all along it is actually hundreds of years in the future on the Atlantis holodeck. Oh and Eli dies.

Eli lays down to go to sleep and minutes later he is snoring up a storm...then he wakes up and finds Bobby Ewing in his shower in his home on Earth...he realizes the 2 seasons on the show were just a dream.

THey will bring the Destiny back to Earth and set up in orbit where they will fire the main gun on SyFy HQ on Earth with the cast of SG1 and Atlantis joining them to watch from the observation lounge high fiving each other.

My honest to god best guess? They'll find an opportunity to return Destiny herself back to Earth, which Rush opposes to the very core. He does everything in his power to stop them from moving Destiny, just as they get the word: The Lucian Alliance has launched an all out Attack on Earth. We then cut to Earth, to see Death Glider's and Alkesh attacking Washington DC, as the Camera pulls out to reveal a fleet of Tel'tak's orbiting Earth, shooting it from orbit while the Odyssey, Hammond and Daedalus fight in vein.

-Cut to Black-

Destiny discovers a new power source along her course or the Seed ship is badly damaged and only able to limp along, but with full reserves of power. One or the other is used to get the crew home, Destiny is allowed to go on her way.

Or, they plan to deliberatly contact the planet builders, set up some perilous situation where Destiny explodes, and is reborn via the aliens, brand new, carrying on her journey, whether or not the crew live...

Destiny's crew gets back to Earth via sundiving and pumping power into the gate, aside from Rush, who stays aboard and dies when the ship inevitably blows up.

That's not a guess, that's a wish.

Rush finds a way to take destiny back in time several years and stop the idiot who decided years ago to break up the SyFy must see Friday night, which began the decline of the network.

failing that Greer can be unleahsed upon the SYFY execs who cancelled the show ;)

Work in a cameo from the elderly McKay hologram from The Last Man and that would be perfect.

It happened in Battlestar, so its not that much of a stretch...

Somehow, they find enough power to dial Earth. Some of the useless characters leave but several decide to stay to continue Destiny's mission. The gate shuts down and Destiny jumps into FTL. Cue lame pop song montage. Destiny drops out of FTL and moves towards a massive alien structure (a big black monolith). Roll credits.
