What do you spend most of your time doing while on the internet?

Besides this place, I look at the various upcoming DVD and book release sites, also other sci-fi (TV, movie, and book) sites, and places devoted to history (my other love besides sci-fi).

Oh, and porn.

Okay, not really, but come on, SOMEBODY had to say it.

I do look at a lot of porn, and I'm not kidding.

Lots of Facebook, in the 4 or 5 groups I belong to.

News (local/national/international) usually cnn.com (though I hate their new website)

Sports

Wikipedia -it is a quick way to acces a decent amount of information on most things I need to look up. Mostly films and episodes though...

A British, a German and a Danish 'dating site'. Mostly to talk with people I know there though... -But I have made a few interresting IRL-connections through these!

The Danish public broadcasting corporation's site. For news and TV (and radio) listings mostly, but also to watch shows I missed when they were on.

A couple of special interest news-sites... about IT and engineering an' stuff.

Plus I go to places like Think Geek, The BBC, Amazon (mostly through a Kindle though), certain non-problematic bit-torrent sites and where-ever the next link sends me.

I usually have a TV on when on-line so I seriously hate watching videos on my computer... unless it's for titilation of course.

Mostly working. I help develop two web-based programs for the entity I work for, and I am also a regular user of those programs, so I am staring at them for almost 40 hours a week.

As for personal stuff, mostly this forum, a Disney forum, Disneyland news sites, Facebook, and Netflix.

Hotmail - don't laugh... had this account before many of you were born
I still have mine, too. And an AOL account, a Gmail, a Yahoo!, etc, etc. Of course, I administer email servers, so I need all of those accounts for testing. :bolian:
I've had the same AOL address since the Summer of 1993. :rommie:

I shudder to think of what a colossal pain in the ass it will be if I ever have to change it.

I do play correspondence chess with a friend in Russia but it gets more and more difficult to maintain contact, what with the Ukraine war and everything :(
That's a shame. Is there no possibility of contact over the Internet?

No, the internet is on and off in the St Petersburg area she tells me. They have a lot of power failures there, especially in winter. Plus I suspect mails are getting filtered/censored by their equivalent of the NSA.

I'm male and single.

Guess.
You're frequenting Hello Kitty websites?
(just kidding. Are you looking for a male or female?)
