What inspired the question was the fact that I always delete the porn movie from my dvr as soon as I get done masturbating. I don't finish watching it. When you think about it I wonder how much money they waste making these movies as long as they do. Seems like your typical porn movie could be made at the length of a web-episode and people would still be happy with the product.

You seem to be forgetting that porn is a legitimate form of art and the the majority of its viewers are classy people who watch it in order to appreciate the naked female form, to admire the randomness of the pattern left by each money-shot, and emotional music score. Porn films aren't designed purely to make you cum, but if you happen to rub one out while you are appreciating the art then where's the harm in that?
