What do women see in Vampires?

Dark, sexy and the ones from Twilight sparkle from what I hear. :lol:
 
The sexual substratum of vampire lore has been the interest of literary critics for a long time. But if you want to think about really icky stuff about unconscious sexual symbolism, you should start wondering why all 12 year old girls want a pony for their birthday. ;)
 
The problem with vampires is that they are all pedophiles. Think about it, yes, you have the physical appearance as a 17 year old, or whatever, but you've been "alive" for hundreds of years, so in essence, you are a really old dude lusting after 16 year olds. Edward, Angel, etc... yeah, goin for that jailbait.
 
Humans can be very, very silly.

Like I need a guy that can't go into sunlight, is pasty, and hisses.
 
They're so deep and dark and brooding and sexy. What isn't there to love? I wish I could find myself a vampire.

Seriously, it's the dark, dangerous allure women find appealing...they can marry the good guy, and fantasize about the bad guy.
 
I find vampires boring but my best friend loves to read vampire books and watch TV shows about vampires. Strangely she loved Angelbut never watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer at all (because she can't stand Sarah Michelle Gellar). Can you understand Angel fully if you haven't seen Buffy?

I am pleased to say that my friend hates the Twilight movies.

Yeah, pretty much. The rules are the same, and there's the occasional crossover, but nothing deal-breaking.

My daughter is a big Twilight fan and she wanted me to see it so l did and l found it boring but New Moon was great and very enjoyalbe
I know my daughter thinks that Jacob from Twilight is hot grins
I look at him and laugh l find him ugly.

But what l noticed is there is so many different books about vampires and if it is a good story you can understand why it will get you in.

Well whatt do women find attactive in vampires is that they are mysteryous and frightening but some do have a gentle nature if this is what the character is played to out to act.

There was a vampire called Angel in buffy and he was goodlooking and was interesting to wach until they wrote him out of the series.

Ok I am gonna stop you Angela...turn off Twilight and turn on The Vampire Diaries...they ain't so dumb. IMHO. :)
