What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Now that it's after midnight and the new day, I made a grilled cheese(swiss on wheat)sandwich a few hours ago. Didn't want to overdo it and eat too much so I ate roughly half the sandwich and chased it down with some diet soda on ice.

Almond-crusted trout.
that sounds delicious! Might I have the recipe, please?

Pizza, lasagna and lots of antipasti and salads.
Yesterday was our annual office feast. This year we had Italian food (all homemade). A pity I ate too much of these delicious grilled mushrooms to have any room left for all the yummy cakes my colleagues brought.

Its a quite simple but tasty and rather quick dish: hollow out a few large tomatoes, fill them with an egg each and some fresh herbs, sprinkle with salt, pepper and olive oil and bake in the oven for 20 mins at 200°C. I dice the scraped out tomato flesh and add it to the tomatoes in the ovenproof dish to make a tasty sauce. Serve with baguette, toast, crispy rolls, rice or potato mash.

That sounds delicious, Rubarbodendron! I might have to try that sometime.

I made cheese tortellini, portobello mushroom tomato sauce w/onions, peppers, and chunks of chicken, and steamed broccoli. It must have been good, because there are absolutely no leftovers today. :)

Brown rice with some precooked and heated chicken strips thrown in for good measure. Chased it down with some Diet Pepsi on ice.
