A very late Thanksgiving dinner. We had guest yesterday who happened to be American, so we ended up making a huge Thanksgiving dinner.

The verdict was, "Not exactly American, but great nonetheless."

Id say, that was pretty good for the first time.

Didn't feel like cooking after seven hours in the car so heated up some of the homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs and Italian sausage my mom had sent home with me. Yum.

I made a big pot of red chile from scratch yesterday and mixed it in with some scrambled eggs.

I plan to make some carne adovada with it and also add it to my traditional chex mix, when I make a batch tonight..

cooked another turkey and all the trimmings last night for the birthday after thanksgiving.

A very nice fry up with peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tofu and carrots. I did watch Supersize me the night before and nedded something less...gna.

It always amuses me when this thread has no posts for a couple of days, makes me think no one has eaten dinner. Went to Denny's and had a Philly Steak Melt with fries and water.

I made Mediterranean Chicken over pasta, and salad with black cherry dressing.

A selection of very nice hors d'oeuvres accompanied by some truly excellent wine at a local winery open house. I particularly liked the BBQ pork slider sandwich with a Zinfandel/Tempranillo blend, and the goat-cheese tarts served with a Viognier/Sauv Blanc/Chardonnay blend. MMmmm.

Oh, and the Zinfandel port with chocolate-covered grapes and cashews for dessert!

Went over to my parents last night and had stuffed salmon with steamed veggies and rice which was just awesome. Also had a glass of red wine.
