What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

PA Dutch egg noodles with an imported Italian "Spicy garlic" tomato sauce, creamed corn, a little romaine lettuce salad with a home made oil & vinegar dressing, and a 1.5 liter bottle of Fiji water. And I plan to follow it up with a double Chivas on the rocks before bed.

Cooked up a pretty amazing rabbit stew & gorgeously crunchy roast potatoes. Washed down with a very decent Loire Cab Franc.

Chicken super flatas from the Mexican place across the street. Delish!
Mexican for me as well, from a little hole in the wall, family owned place a couple of blocks away. Two chile rellenos with salsa, guacamole and sour cream sided by refritos with onions and rice.

Pecan encrusted chicken, salad with black-cherry dressing and home-made double-chocolate chip cookies.

Boo-yah.

^ mmm mmm good!

I had a definitely low brow meal of a can of Hormel Chili with a hot dog cut up in it.

Hey, I didn't die!

Pasta + a bunch of out of date chilis (half a packet of them, to be exact). Way too hot! Good thing I didn't try that with scotch bonnets.

Went over to my parents for dinner for the first time since I moved back out and we had brazed beef stew for dinner which was awesome. Then I went to Denny's with a friend and had a Brownie Ala monde which was good...

I gorged on lots of junk last night. Surprisingly, the scales today said I had lost 700g in weight. Hmmm... :shifty:

Tonight it's pizza. :bolian:

Tonight we made my grandmothers "hamburger pie" however, we substituted the ground beef in the recipe with ground Bison.

Basically you cook up the meat with your choice of spices and onions on the stove. Once that is done you mix in some ketchup and flour to make the "filling". the "topper" is ricotta cheese, an egg, and parmesan cheese mixed together.

Put the filling into a pie crust, top with the cheese topper and put in an oven on 350 until the cheese is brown.

yum.

Whole wheat spaghetti, and took a jar of pasta sauce and put some ground turkey and cut up some veggies in it.

Inspired by Geckothan's chili I made some of my own yesterday. :D But I don't go overboard with the chilies; I like to taste my food, not suffer it. :p
