What did Mirror-Kirk say?

When he was being thrown into the brig, transcripts and the DVD's sub have him saying :

[FONT=Arial] "I order you ...Let me go! Phasers! Spock, get these men off me! What is this?
What are you doing, Spock? You traitorous pig. I'll hang you up by your Vulcan ears.
I'll have you all executed!"

Okay. Every part makes sense except 'Phasers'. Was this a mistake on Shatner's part, or a bad read by the subtitle people and those who did the online transcript?

On a separate note, if we take the DS9 eps as the fate of the MU, how did M-Spock get into M-Kirk's quarters, with the guy beaming right back in and a guard on the door as well?

I'm thinking he said "traitors" or something similar. Unless he was asking/requesting for someone in the crew to hand him a phaser to defend himself. Who knows. I never paid much attention until now. I focus more on the Mirror Kirk's thrashing-about and resistance than I do his dialogue.

Young Clark Kent misses his schoolbus and one of his friends makes the comment "If Clark moved any slower, he'd be extinct."

What does the caption read?

"If the clock moved any slower, he'd be extinct."

Yeah. Makes perfect sense to me too.

Don't the captioning people stop and think about what they're typing?

This is stuff that's going out to the public as "final copy"!

Edit: I guess you're right... it does say 'violins' in the Blish adaptation.
