What are your TFA viewing plans?

Do you already have tickets lined up? If so, will they be for the grand premiere showing, or a little further back? IMAX, 35mm? How many friends and family members are you bringing along? Will you dress up? Doing a Star Wars viewing marathon beforehand? Fetching a beer while watching?

How hyped are you?

Anything and everything involving our plans for the big day -- name 'em! For me, I'm signed on for the second showing at a nice RPX theater in the Tampa Bay Area. Three people will be accompanying me, although I'm locked into two subsequent showings over the next few days, with other groups. I'll probably be seeing TFA almost as many times as STID at this rate. I've often been told I have a bit of a Hamill look, so I'll probably go as Luke. :)

I am going to a "true" IMAX 3D theater in Orlando 8:30pm Friday the 18th.

I will also see it Sunday the 20th at another local theater - regular 3D this time.

Probably collect some younger kids I look out for and take them sometime during the following week, and take some other friends the next weekend.

I'm eager, but not hyped. I will probably see TFA the first time I get a day off from work and then wait till iTunes so I can buy it.

Morning show on Friday the 18th, with my wife and youngest son.

December 17th - 7:30pm - 2D show.
January 1st - sometime - 3D IMAX show.

And probably three or four more times around that.

Premiere night December 17th at 0:01 am

Then i want to see it in English and IMAX so it's at least 3 viewings for me (unless the movie sucks monumentally).

Yeah if the movie is "ok" I'll watch it three or four times.

If it is fantastic - the skies the limit.

I'm hoping to see it the first day my mom and I are both off during the week. I don't drive so I have to rely on her for a ride, and since this is one she wants to see she'll be coming to. I don't own any costumes, so I won't be dressing up. I don't do 3D or IMAX, so I'll be seeing in regular 2D. I only watch movies in the theaters once, so any subsequent viewings will be either Netflix or Redbox Blu-Ray rentals, or streaming. I don't usually buy movies anymore, but if I love it as much as I'm hoping I probably will, unless it goes to Netflix or Amazon Prime streaming right away. I own all of the other movies, including the CW movie, and the first two seasons of CW.

Group from work is going to a midnight showing and I'm taking my daughter. On Saturday I have 4 tickets for me, my wife, son, and daughter at Studio Movie Grill.

Opening day, possibly with a couple of very close friends and fellow fans although we won't get all the fine details of our schedules worked out until the week of the premiere or even a few days beforehand.

Probably won't see it opening day. My family and I often go to the movies on Christmas Day, so I have a feeling I will be waiting to see it then.

I wait till my nephew is old enough to buy the DVD/BluRay. :D If it gets raving reviews I might watch it in the cinema if I can persuade one of my sci-fi-resistent friends to come with me. :D

I saw Clones on my own in the local cinema.

I'll see it in theatres at my earliest convenience, preferably a 2-D screening. No, I don't have tickets bought yet, in all honesty I don't see the need for advance tickets, it's just something that can get lost and movies just don't sell out anymore.

I have not bought tickets. I'll probably wait a week to avoid crowds. I expect this thing to be a monster.

I don't think I can break my personal "no opening night showings" rule even for this one. And since I work on the weekends, I might have to wait until the Monday or Tuesday after to see it, probably during a matinee since it's cheaper.
