What are your post-SGU Stargate viewing plans?

With SGU ending on an up note, I'm giving serious thought to going back and re-watching all of Stargate from start to finish. I may have to skip a few episodes (Emancipation immediately comes to mind) but ideally I'd like re-watch most of it.

I'm pretty sure I'll pick up SGU season 2 on DVD, but I'm not sure about season 1. A few of the episodes were ok, but overall I didn't care for it.

What's everyone else going to do?

I'll be saying 'goodbye' to Eureka, and WH13. I'm done with Syfy.....have put up with their scheduling and other crap for way too long already. Thank goodness for DVD's!

I'll watch Sanctuary, Warehouse 13, Eureka, and Being Human until SyFy inevitably cancels them. Doctor Who is always there.

I plan to buy the Atlantis blu-ray collection (I was saving up for the Star Wars collection, but I like Atlantis better). I'll eventually get all 10 seasons of SG-1 (I assume that they will never come to blu-ray since the first 5 or so seasons weren't filmed in HD, I think). I'll also buy both seasons of SGU on DVD. I already have all 3 films. I'll even pick up Infinity if I can find it.

SG-1 has a tremendous amount of re-watch value for me. Just finishing up season 1 with the gf (who had never seen it.) Can't wait to start S2!

I'll probably do a complete rewatch. Fuck knows how long it will take though.

Why give up on Eureka? it's still fun....

i'll watch it as well as Being Human when it gets back...having a hard time scheduling in Dr. Who.

What would people say on here to the Idea that I start a Destiny Adventures here on Trekbbs in the Fan literature section?

I'm done with Stargate until a new series comes out, or if there are novels to closeout SGU. Not enough rewatch value for me to go back and watch any of it again.

I am trying to do something like that in fan fiction. Contuining the Destiny adventures.

I'll be continuing to run my Stargate RPG without fear that the show will do something that contradicts the game. (Like, say, revealing what the Furlings really are.)

Ha, if anyone wants a Stargate fix: I'm watching a silly action movie from the 1990s with Patrick Stewart, called "Masterminds."

But it also features the actors that played Dr. Fraiser, Cassandra, Dr. Rothman, Col. Makepeace, Heru-ur, and Leoben from BSG.

!

ank god for Netflix. I've been randomly watching favorites from sg-1 and Atlantis for a month now. Plus rewatching SGU.

As for SyFy. I'm done. I'll drop by when that new galactica series starts up but I think I'm done with that network. The only reason now id watch is star trek reruns but that's coming to Netflix as well.
