I mean, Starfleet seems to me a pretty direct parallel to the Navy, from the branch divisions (engineering, comms, etc.) to the more obvious rank divisions. That's because Star Trek inherently contains a certain amount of militarism.

Shouldn't the UE MACO's be folded into the United Earth Space Probe Agency (UESPA)?
I'd imagine it was very understandable in 1967.but maybe not too well for us to understand...
That's still a valid comparison, considering Starfleet also acts as the defense force for the Federation and part of its job is to protect and defend Federation worlds and citizens.
I think Starfleet was spun off from the UESPA and gained the UE MACOs.Shouldn't the UE MACO's be folded into the United Earth Space Probe Agency (UESPA)?
Interesting detail to focus on then. The point, though, is there are no detailed stats on the ships exploration abilities in contrast to the wealth of military stats and descriptions.
I can definitely imagine videos doing that, but the ones I've found (mostly Certifiably Ingame) talk about a ship's capabilities overall. Not about Star Trek, but about us: Somehow, we can’t help a certain amount of militarism. When we compare starship classes in online videos and such, it’s always about how they compare tactically, rather than which is better at exploring planets or making first contacts.
I sure hope they solve the cause of thinning hair and baldness by the 23rd century.
What’s odd is, by this point baldness should be an aesthetic choice, not an uncontrollable medical condition. Picard and Sisko both look great bald.Only for that knowledge to be lost again by the late 24th century? (Picard, Sisko, EMH / Dr. Zimmerman ...)

One would imagine sensor arrays, science land, and analytical equipment statistics would be just as readily available as torpedo launchers and phaser banks?
I have no issue with ordnance. I know how to handle ordnance, and the nurse practitioner and I have plans to go out shooting despite our working in the healthcare field.Ordinance can serve a purpose, even during peaceful explorations.

Ordinance is quite useful. I just wouldn't mind seeing the stats on scientific equipment too in games like Starfleet Battles or STO.
That too.I was thinking more along the lines of things like using phasers to gain samples of particularly dense asteroids.
How do you measure "Exploration Capabilities" of a StarShip? The point, though, is there are no detailed stats on the ships exploration abilities in contrast to the wealth of military stats and descriptions.
Warp capabilities are shown for the various ships. That's a major component of exploration. The point, though, is there are no detailed stats on the ships exploration abilities in contrast to the wealth of military stats and descriptions.
Help? Can't get your messages in my other account, completely shut out. Please advice. This is my last course of action.Pretty much. The agency was simply UESPA until around or in 2132 when Starfleet was chartered as a separate organization and the MACOs were an independent military agency until the birth of the Federation in 2161.
whats going on? i've been messaging you as well.Help? Can't get your messages in my other account, completely shut out. Please advice. This is my last course of action.
