This weekend we finished Arcane and started binging The Lazarus Project, re-watched Thunderbolts*, and watched Thursday Murder Club.

Watched episodes 5, 6, and 7 of Wednesday last night.
Watched first episode of The Paper.
It was pretty good. Got a few good laughs, right now it has more of a Parks & Rec season 1 vibe than Office season 1 vibe. And unfortunately a bit of a Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip vibe with the guy who wants to bring the paper back to real news.
It's hard to judge yet whether this show will go anywhere. It's about on the level as the weaker first season of both those shows that later became great. But they probably don't have the same talent to expand on and I'm really worried it will become Studio 60 preachy that will kill all the fun.

Last night was Strange New Worlds and Peacemaker.
Next week: NIGHTWING and the Exorcist documentary LEAP OF FAITH. Its director did commendable ones for ALIEN and PSYCHO as well.
NIGHTWING is pretty forgettable except for one five-minute nighttime sequence with thousands of plastic vampire bats. So that one will be next, then we move on to the non-Edsels.
